Webb---Maybe not...Injuries really derailed his career...Still hopeful he proves to be a good safety.

Jimmy-YES-  Where would we be without him!?  Have you seen what CBs are getting paid these days?  Look at what is happening to the Panthers, who refused to pay Norman.  I know Jimmy is not the same player as before the injuries, but he is still a very good CB.

Joe-DEFINITELY YES!  Gotta have a QB in this league or you turn into the Browns.  When you find one, you pay him and try to build around him!

I think both were signed before their injuries, so yes.  I'll even say that how Webb was playing, we got him at a discount.

I may not agree have agreed with the Flacco deal, initially, but that's the going rate for a qb.  His deal was cap friendly as well.

After the last couple of weeks, I don't know how we win another game frankly. We lost against 2 mediocre teams and barely won against 3 really bad teams. No I don't think we are a team destined for the playoffs this season. Maybe it takes a few years and talent infusion to make us an elite team. Right now we are in the bottom half of NFL teams if one were to be honest.

Harbs, and every single offensive player is responsible for our situation not withstanding the Trestman firing. It is just terrible our offense led by Flacco. I was imagining this was the year where Flacco really took off even in the regular season and show us all why we consider him elite, but alas we may have to wait till the playoffs for him to emerge, but who are we kidding about making the playoffs this year?

i just don't believe in the John Harbaugh- joe flacco era anymore. The record of 26-27 with 3 out of 4 missed playoffs ( almost 4 out of 4 if not for kansas doing us a huge favor) tells me that this franchise is on a downward spiral and until those two are gone its not going to get better..it will continue to languish in the average tier of the NFL.

"3 out of 4 missed playoffs"?!?? What the Hell are you saying? We haven't been eliminated yet. Sheesh. Add a conditional statement to that sentence and okay I can see it but without you adding a condition you sound like you're ignorant and simply spitting out an anti-establishment agenda.

thank you. However,we will probably beat the browns. You see the bad coaching on this team shines through when we cant win unless EVERYONE is healthy. Good coaches are able to win games for teams that have injury issues. One caveat there..during the playoffs in our SB run every player was healthy except webb. It didnt matter because corey graham >>>>> webb..we just didnt know it at the time. If we had 2-3 guys out..which is what MOST teams go through..we woudnt have won.

Jimmy was playing well in 13 and 14 before the lisfranc.  He's playing well now, too.  Was Pitta worth his contract?  The GM can't make deals based on what injury will occur AFTER the deal.  There is one deal I've really opposed and that was the Ray Rice contract.  Only reason was because I said invest in OL and draft backs.

this team needs an identity. So the first thing they need to do is what the cowboys are doing. BUILD AN O LINE!!!! get 1 LEGIT pass rusher. Then do what we havent done in a while and do a seattle with draft analysis.

Webb got hurt in 12 and was playing well before his ACL.

Coaching does go a long way.  As bad as Hurst is, wasn't he starting the Pats playoff game, when the team put up 34?

gary Kubiak says hi..

KO and Yanda bossed.

if it werent for the legendary draft pick matt elam (another one i got right, thank you very much...another one i was negged for, thank you very much) we'd have been in the SB..however i still think we would have lost vs seattle.

Bobby Rainey will be in the house on Sunday. The Giants are kinda similar to us this year. Close games. Inconsistent offense, defense holds up decently. This is definitely a winnable game. But they have to put pressure on Eli to make mistakes and get the run game going again and stick with it!

This teams looking pretty frankensteiny, if we don't have Mosely, Wagner, or Stanley we'll be VERY hardpressed.

Matt Elam missing a tackle in that game did hurt but I don't think it hurt that much . If anything Rashaun Melvin getting beat twice for a touchdown by The Patriots receivers cause  more  damage.  I actually was excited to see how well Matt Elam would play this season because he look like a different player in preseason and  the coaching staff must feel the same because he was place on i.r with the chance of coming back. If there was no growth by him then he would have been cut by now with a  injury settlement .

Elam missed a tackle at the line of scrimmage on a pivotal 3rd down on Edlemenn (or maybe Amedola) which setup a TD. It was right after Suggs stressed tackling since all they did was short passes. You see Suggs come up to him again and say what did I just say, sideline has never missed a tackle.

At the time the game didn't bother me as much as a normal playoff loss because I felt we overachieved and would only get better under Kubiak and a healthy secondary. Kubiak leaving and the secondary struggling compounded with revelations that the Patriots were cheating in that game, our current struggles with their SB win and continued success make this loss magnified and way more painful.

its going to be a patched up offenseive line for sure. Alex Lewis struggled at LT. Preston smith really had his way with him . Yandas hurt his shoulder but he'll play. Stanleys had 3 weeks to get over this issue..

I though Lewis did pretty good, he's a legit MAULER in the run game. He might actually be pretty good at RT.

Run blocking is where he actually struggles the most.

Must've improved, looked like that was the thing he could do pretty well last game.

Lewis isn't a good run blocker at all...he's a good pass blocker, but when he's at guard you can't run it behind him.

I hope so Ronnie.

Tbh I wouldn't mind a line like this.

Stanley-Urschel-Zuttah-Yanda-Lewis

Does not sound too bad actually considering we found a groove with run game. Hopefully Marty can do somehting.

No kidding. With the way the Bengals are playing all we have to do is hang with Pittsburgh and the division is ours. We swept them last year with our whole team down. Yeah our schedule gets more difficult but theirs isn't easy either- and who knows- Big Ben could tear his Achilles Sunday and then the whole season changes. You just never know. We do have a team that can hang with anybody when we are on in all 3 phases.

Not only that but we have good young talent there. Judon, Perriman, Crockett, CJ, Jernigan,Williams, Lawerence Guy is a good player, Tavon Young has done well.

Tbh. We have the pieces. Suggs isn't doing terrible, he's still a good run defender and might get a few more sacks, I'm not counting Dumervil out because he's still coming back from injury. Ronnie Stanley when he returns will hopefully help solidify the oline. We could easily be a wildcard team with the way the AFC is shaping up. One of the divisions is flat out terrible(AFC South), AFC West has two good teams and that's it(Oakland and Denver), and AFC east is always dominated by one team. We could easily make the playoffs and figure things out.

We have a winning record.

Give this team 2-3 more years to develop and we could be dangerous.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dixon is inactive this game so we can have both Judon and Correa active now that 1) Carter was cut so we need ST bodies, and 2) We still haven't gotten word on Mosley's injury. With that knee brace it was plainly obvious that he just is not ready to come back and contribute, he was hesitant and didn't have the quickness to find the hole. Give him another couple weeks to heal up to 100% and we can bring him back to the active roster on game day. Right now I'm happy rolling with West as the starter and Buck pulling backup duties.
