I am in complete agreement with this right here. The defense played well, holding the Redskins to 10 points. I hope that Pees is not lumped into the coaching complaints. His unit, except for a few bad games by Wright, has played very well so far this season.  I have to give a special shout out to West, he really ran well today.

West did well, but tough to gauge where we are in the run game based on this performance. Redskins run defense is just epic bad. Easily the worst in the league by far.

The Good- The 1st drive

The Bad- Perrimans drop and Mosleys fumble

The Ugly- Coaches decisions. You do not call a timeout after the Mosley fumble. Damn kneejerk reaction and John waving his hands around like he has no idea what is going on. Also not running the ball on 1st and 2nd down after the fumble recovery at our 15. Always gotta be cute inside the redzone and then having the gall to call a fake FG on a gimme on 4th and 9 or whatever it was and with no momentum on our sides. You need short and a longer FG attempt to do them shenanigans. Take the 7 pt lead. We coulda tied it at the end of the game. Crimineys!!!!! John needs to chill.

I thought the timeout was because Mosely was injured and couldn't get off the field. And if they didn't they may have to play with 10 instead of 11.

Well, that's what the lovely Fox announcers said...Not surprised they got it wrong.

Yes injury timeouts don't happen till the last 2 minutes.

notice that since we deactivated judon

we have had 1 sack in 2 games

remember the Mcphee effect? where he might not get a sack but he get the QB to have to hurry or move into another player for a sack?

yeah that aint happening with ZDS who cant bend to save his life.

I blame dumervil/ZDS and the coaches for not giving judon the chance.

ZDS is more of all around outside linebacker than Judon at the moment. If  Suggs goes down or needs a breathier he's the guy that's going to take his spot. Everybody  else from Dooms, Mccellan,Carter, and Correa are either situational players or valueable on special teams.   I haven't seen The Ravens use ZDS the same way as Mcphee and I could be wrong but I have only seen him being used on the outside unlike Mcphee who was more of a inside pass rusher .

I think I saw on one of the runs Brandon Williams got PANCAKED. I don't think he's coming back next year. Micheal Pierce has stepped up.

Great players get beat too.

Some good news for the Ravens is the Bengals just lost. But we need to take care of our own business on the field so we dont have to hope for other teams to lose.

I truly believe Micheal Pierce is our next great DT.

I think it would be better to keep those 2 guys playing next to each other and growing better together for the next few years.

True, but you have to admit he made the most with his 11 carries and that is really all you can ask.

So far West has been the most impressive Raven RB this year. He hits the hole with speed and power.

Did Pierce make some monster plays or something that I missed.

The amount of good in that good news seems pretty minimal at this point. Unless something drastic happens, the first 3 weeks may have actually been the far and away highlight of the season.

I kept screaming at the TV; give the ball to West!!! dude avg 8 or 9 yd and he was in the zone.

What's sup with fake fg? and John needs to sit back and chill in game cuz he was too aggressive, choked, and panic.  He just doesn't know what he's doing out there.

Trestman needs to go cuz he ain't adjusting in game.  When our O-line can't stop sucky Redskins 4 man rush but the running game is clicking, you better stick to the running game if you have to run 3 downs. We don't have a single receiver that can bail Joe out like AJ green or A. Brown after Steve Smith SR went down....

Final, our guys were making mental mistakes; Mosley tried too much and cost us 7pts, Periman dropped good deep pass and couldn't drag his feet in the endzone.

Cant argue that just trying to stay a little positive but the Ravens definitly need to change something or we will be picking towards the top of the draft again.

True points my friend. Just so you know I was yelling at my TV too and I would be willing to bet we are not the only ones who did that. West needs to be the starting RB and he should get at least 20-25 touches a game.

The good: this team's talent (in fact, most Ravens teams' talent each year)

The bad: our coaching and game plan and football "smarts"

The ugly: the results after yet another inexplicable loss (including several playoff losses)

The Ravens: Doing less with more

so you wanna pay a nice big piece of the salary cap to a run stopping NT when we have an extremely cheap run stopping NT who actually seems to bring better pass rush?

ill pass.

I would like to see both guys grow together. I think they can plug the middle for years to come. If the price is not right then find another guy in the draft.

Thank you. Classic example of Ozzie's 80/20 rule.

It's going to be hard to go to work tomorrow and deal with gloating redskins fans... Thanks Harbaugh for trying to be cute (again) on 4th down.
