The Good, Bad and Ugly vent thread week 5

627 posts in this topic

We come out with a beautiful first drive. Then we get into the red zone 2 more times before the half and all we can come away with is 3 points. I knew this game was lost after that. We have to face facts here, the wheels have fallen off the coaching cart.

Trestman needs to go.

Judon needs to play over ZDS

ST needs to get Crap together.

O-line needs to get healthy

Trestman needs to be fired.

This season is over if we do not fire Trestman . I'm not saying we will make the playoffs if we fire him

but he is a terrible fit with our teams offensive personnel .

These last two losses are just awful. It's the fact that these are bad teams at home, you can't drop these types of games. Steelers will win the division, we are battling for a wild card, that has become clear. So every one of these close, awful losses will come back to haunt us.

Dude....you do realize the Raiders have been a good team since week 8 of 2015, right?!?!?

I hope college qbs play lights out this year, because at this rate we will be picking top 5 again and Myles Garrett becomes a possibility!

Sarcasm. But seriously...

His anger at being asked about it is astounding.

47 throws...210 yards and the run game is why we can't pick up first downs.

He's always been an arrogant, condescending jerk at the podium. People complained about Brian Billick, but at least Billick was never the bonehead that Harbaugh continues to be on game day.

i have to be objective here. Hes the coach of our team..but as i take bias out the equation. Harbs is a real [profanity deleted] most of the time and really really lame.

Trade house for Garrett. Dude is an absolute freak.

As a TAMU fan, I can absolutely agree about him being a freak. Him at 60-70% yesterday vs. Tennessee is better than a lot of other players 100%.

OH the humanity!!!

I'm not sure that I can remember a more poorly schemed offensive performance. Trestman was utterly lost. It cries-out for audibles and I don't think that happened either. There's no way that this should not have been a Ravens win.

I'm starting to think that Trestman may need to be put in Witness Protection and relocated to an unnamed country that's never heard of 'Situational Awareness' or football.

Embarrassing. Really wanted him to workout, but...naw.

Good: All things considered, oline had a good day. Run blocking was superb, and pass protection was remarkable considering our two starting tackles were out for most of the game and we had a makeshift line. Backs played well. Juice was excellent but I wish he could break a tackle very now and then.

Bad: Joe, secondary, dline (no pass rush yet again)

Ugly: Yes

notice that since we deactivated judon

we have had 1 sack in 2 games

remember the Mcphee effect? where he might not get a sack but he get the QB to have to hurry or move into another player for a sack?

yeah that aint happening with ZDS who cant bend to save his life.

I blame dumervil/ZDS and the coaches for not giving judon the chance.

Unexplainable to me. With him out, our interior DL does not do it either.

This loss is absolutely on the ravens themselves but the redskins o-line was getting away with blatant holding calls all day

It was an issue, but far from a difference maker. They still had no success running the ball, and overall the Redskins offense did very little against us.

I have very little issue with the defense today. I'd like more of a pass rush, but can't really complain with what they did today too much. Gave up 10 points against a pretty good offense and passing attack.

The pass rush not getting to the qb was the reason of holding which is why i was mad but our defense still did fantastic although it was partly due to cousins' accuracy. Their WRs had us beat 2 times for a td but cousins overthrew both passes which kept us in the game so you know it wasn't all fantastic but it is what it is.

Might be unfair but we really need Perriman to start making plays instead of leaving them on the field.

Thats not unfair.

ST killed us too. Wow this is one of the worst losses I can remember. I mean this was a gift win. We have to steal these next road games I guess, hard to have confidence after that joke today.

Good: Defense, running game.

Bad: ST play. Just horrific for three straight weeks. Was a game changer today. Injuries to offensive line and lack of depth.

Ugly: Mosley. Great pick, but that's why you play linebacker. The so-called "weapons" Joe has around him. Can't beat man coverage, can't consistently catch the football.

I am in complete agreement with this right here. The defense played well, holding the Redskins to 10 points. I hope that Pees is not lumped into the coaching complaints. His unit, except for a few bad games by Wright, has played very well so far this season.  I have to give a special shout out to West, he really ran well today.
