Steve Smith Sr. and Josh Norman could provide fireworks. Baltimore's offense has another chance to get going against a low-ranked defense. Will a possibly shuffled Ravens offensive line protect Joe Flacco better?

If we have the same 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi pass rush on Cousins as we did on David Carr it could be a frustrating afternoon. Gotta come out swinging on both sides of the ball.

Not only does Geesh wright and Jimmy Smith need to be on top of their game but our pass rush needs to be spot on as well. They both go together because neither is stellar enough to hold their own. If one is lacking, the other gets creamed!

1) it took years of suggesting, but we finally got rid of that dumb logo on the center of the field and now have a great Ravens head, now, we just need to dress up the end zones some more, good job so far, 2) get rid of trestman, enough of high school play calling, 3) joes a big boy now, let him call the plays, can't do any worse than what we have now.

5 things to watch vs Skins..

1) Lewis at LT, and Uerschel at G... should be light years above Hurst&Jenson
2) Pass Rush,Sacking Cousins. 0 sacks on Carr. And Judon was inactive.
I will be very upset if Judon is inactive 2 straight weeks and Suggs&old man Dumervil do JACK SQUAT. Judon has fresh legs, and a relentess motor he has to be active and play.. Idc sit correa, sit Aiken, but we have to sack Cousins 3-4x

3) Run/Pass Ratio...Trestman is officually on the Hot Seat. Going on a yr and a half now of bad playcalling. 50 passes a game, allergic to running, dink&dunk offense.
Well now its time he listens to his franchise Qb and everyone who is complaining.
More balance, more deep shots, more play action, more "Joe Flacco Friendly Offense" like Kubiak had

4) Win the turnover battle win the game

5) Stop The Run game, make Skins 1 Dimensional..&Run all over them

1. Does the offensive line protect Joe better and open holes for the RB?
2. Does the defense get to the QB of Washington?
3. Do the WR's hold onto the ball when it hits their hands?
4. Does Joe have better accuracy when he throws?
5. Does S. Wright get burnt again or does he contain his WR?
6. Do the coaches make the right calls?
This team could easily be 4-0 but last week was a real stinker game. The only positive from last week was this team is going to fight for 60 minutes.

I did a little parsing of Trestman's press conference and heard a few interesting things that kind of slipped out and no one has mentioned. First was a question regarding Alex Lewis playing on the outside at left tackle and then about Urschel and Trestman said he played well last year and he expects he will do so again this week. Also when asked about Dixon he said he showed well in preseason and we will see when he starts this week, plays this week. That means Lewis and Urschel on the left side and Dixon starting. That's what I heard, it will be interesting to see if they were slips or misspeaks.

How long are we going to read this kind of crap? Hurst and Jensen both stink. They were downright awful last week against the Raiders. It is time to get rid of the both of them. I don't care who we put in there, neither of them can do the job. They are going to get Joe put out for the year. I hope Harbaugh wakes up before it is too late.

Relax reserve players are that for a reason. They're not starters G.

Its simple

* Protect Joe

* Run the ball

* Get into rhythm starting with the first drive

* Get pressure on Cousins

* Take shots down field

I'm watching Joe Flacco because you can't keep blaming the O line and Trestman for every bad pass! All the Ravens needed was a first down!

Nothing's simple in the NFL. But I agree with your points. I think it's ridiculous we're not taking deep shots with Perriman, Wallace, Moore, and Flacco. So ridiculous. I get the whole thing about the line not providing much time but split Wallace and Perriman out wide, Smitty going over the middle, and block with 7 if you have to. Time for the offense to get rollin. I say we hold Stanley out as long as it takes for him to get healthy

First keys keys to the game- Bench Wright. # 2 reduce his role or bench Aiken after the most disastrous performance I've ever seen from a game impact and non starter ever. Flacco, quit chuckin 6 yards!

If we don't run the rock all over the skins sorry defense we have no hope against true playoff contenders. Lets be real. We should blow them out.

no, all the Ravens needed was for Harbaugh not to Absolutely blow it for the 2nd time in the game. Tucker would've won the game, again. Even if we didn't set him up on the hashes + 5 more yards on 3rd down. Harbaugh, Aiken, and Wright lost us last game. Wright better be benched. Harbaugh has bigger problems then I thought if Wright starts. He must be the worst corner in the NFL. By stats and the eye test. There's a reason he was cut by multiple teams last year. Then we give him a nice contract. The front office is making me scratch my head as of the past few years. The Smitty and Weddle additions have been the only saving grace

As far as Jensen, I like him and urschel backing up our starters for a week or 2 when needed. When it comes to Hurst.... Poor guy I don't wanna be harsh on him but he's just not capeable of handling NFL pass rushers. I don't even want to see him backing up anyone. Just stash him on the PS and use his body in practice but not during the games please!

I got the Redskins winning this game, Cousin's a better QB than Flacco, It's not the O-Line, Trestman or Harbaugh, Flacco is just dull, no fire in him, when the Offense sits on the bench, Flacco just sits there rather than try to get his O-Lines fired up, If Flacco starts hollering and try to instill some emotions, maybe they play better..So far this season, I'm 4-0 in predictions

We need to give up one of our many decent Wide Receivers for an upgrade in our Offensive Line.

At this point, I wouldn't mind if we give up a 1st rounder for Joe Thomas even though we'd be overpaying.

Call the likes of the Chargers and Browns. They're probably going to dump mode after this week.

My 5 things to watch are all about Joe Flacco. For years I’ve been a Flacco apologist. It’s the coach, it’s the line, its receivers, the running game etc.
Now he has a HOF receiver in Smith Sr., his security blanket in Pitta, 2 receivers with speed in Wallace and Perriman, solid RBs, and 2 other 6’ 5 TEs.

So far this season, Joe has faced defenses near the bottom of league and is throwing over 30 times every game and the offense still is looks inconsistent drive to drive, half to half, game to game.

If Joe had an all pro LT, all pro RB, all pro Wr, all pro TE, then Ravens would not be able to pay him the money he gets.
1. Will Joe throw accurately today?
2. Does he protect the football?
3. Is his play consistent all 4 quarters?
4. Is he making adjustments at the line?
5. Joe’s production. He facing a defense that gives up the run and pass. Can he be ‘the guy’ that gets the offense going?

If yes to these questions, the Ravens will not only beat the Skins, but are a playoff team.

Redskins have a good offense so the defense may struggle today. Joe is getting paid more than anyone on the field (on both teams).

He needs to be the guy that is the reasons Ravens win, instead of a guy that needs the best of everything around him to win. No more excuses!

A QB is only as good as the O-line. Bradshaw was a mediocre QB with the best O-Line in football. No coincidence about the rings.

Good to see someone finally take the "Below Average Joe" glasses off.

With winds blowing around 20 mph today, the team with the best running game and least mistakes maybe the deciding factor

lets look at your issue in just a little more detail;

First i believe that you are missing the most glaring stat- that receivers, TE and RB- MUST catch the ball- SSr, Wallace, Aiken, Perriman, Williams, Forsett, Gilmore, Moore and West have ALL dropped passes that were right in their hands. Unacceptable! ( in fact the reason we lost the game sunday was simply because of dropped passes during the past drive) Though Joe would not throw anyone under the bus.

17 drops ( not misses) is embarrassing for an offense, Quite honestly until they start catching the ball, I will not criticize Joe.

Joe Flacco cannot throw and catch the passes.

Joe doesn't make the play calls, he can adjust the call at the line if he has the proper personnel. O line played very below average last game.

So far the ravens have out scored and gained more yards than their opponents this is a direct reflection on Joe, certainly you cannot attribute it to a running game

If a defense allows 3rd down and 19, 16, 12, 8 and 7 you can expect that points will be scored by the opponent

Shareece is INACTIVE.  Moore is as well. Looks like they are finally putting there foot down when it comes to mistakes. Stanley will give it another week and it hasnt been confirmed yet but lewis will hopefully slide over to Lt. Only thing i don't agree with is judon being inactive. We need young pass rushers with fresh legs. Let's hope suggs and doom have knocked most of the rust off. Hoping that Davis gets the nod at outside cb. Both waller and DB are both ACTIVE and will contribute on ST.
