[News] Ravens Activate Tight End Darren Waller

Great news. I loved the pick when they took him and can't wait to see him on the field. This guy is going to cause some match up nightmares for defenses.

I felt the same way about Perriman. So far, no match up nightmares.

Waller will have either a safety or LB covering him. Not a CB.

And they're keeping DB on the 53? I guess that makes sense since we intended on keeping 4 tight ends originally anyway. Brown will  be the inactive tho due to wallers ST play. I think we alsdo try to get darren involved in the passing game to catch the skins off guard who don't have much tape on him. Hopefully we actually utilize him in the redzone for once and stop throwing shoulder routes to guys that are 5" 10.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he makes a big play for us this Sunday. Whether it be on offense or ST- however I think it will be a TD catch.

I really thought that Maxx Williams was going to have a break out year this season, but even though he got hurt only a few games in, he never showed me anything to legitimize my prediction.

A LB will have a really hard time covering Waller with all that speed. Hope they give him plays with room to run.

O wow, the Ravens activated Darren Waller. Ho hum. So what? Another tight end is not the solution to our offensive woes. Anyone who has watched the first 4 games can see the problems, the offensive line and the lousy play calling. Stop throwing the ball short of the first down marker on third down and get someone who knows how to make one yard on third down and maybe the offense will move forward. Just frustrating to watch how inept we are on short yardage situations.
