It's great when they're clicking, but when they're all in a slump at the same time...  Unfortunately, you get those ebbs and flows with power bats.

With the quality of pitching in the post season I think you have to be able to play small ball to win a championship.

Yep.  You need those guys that can grind out those extra bases.

Issue is that he's a platoon guy though.

Rickard, Chen, Mancini might cover it.

Matt Wieters is having trouble finding a new team. What wrong with asking to sign with San Diego Padres or with the Oakland A's? if nobody wants him?

Not following here. If they have not called his agent and made an offer they must not want him either.

It's okay to link to official sites, just not illegal streaming sites.

The #Orioles have announced their full list of NRIs for spring training. pic.twitter.com/58WEKJkQkt

And yes, Chance Sisco is on the list.

Chance Sisco is one I think the Orioles want to be what Matt Weiters should have been.

A very great batter for the position with solid defense. If he could just get his glove going for him, he could be a plus hitter in the MLB.

I hope Chance can manage pitchers better than Matt. I think his pitcher management is what has him still job seeking.  I was very disappointed with that aspect of his game last year.

In other news, from USA Today, the annual predictions.  Though they count us out in the chart, in the verbiage they don't.  I don't think any of the "experts" really know what to expect.

Speaking of pitchers, I really hope that Bundy is allowed to have his full arsenal in 2017. I hate that the Orioles tried to limit his full pitching selection.

As far as the predictions go, I'm happy to see the Orioles being predicted at over .500 for once. I don't mind the Red Sox being placed first, but I'm used to seeing the Orioles in last with like 65 predicted wins.

I saw a tweet the other day that said his full arsenal in now in play.

Would be nice to see Bundy unleashed, just have to hope he holds up physically. He got worn down towards the end of last year

Why cant MASN televise all spring training home games? Just like the Yankees and the Mets do.

Costs too much for a smaller market.

Then raise the price on MASN. Just like the Dodgers did to Time Warner cable.

So Wieters signed with the Nats. I am going to miss him.

He's a major case of what could have been.

They never could figure out his swing.  So long and slow.  Hard to be a supremely successful hitter, or at least half of what he was expected to be, with those issues.
