I know it's easier to blame a player than fix the line, but, fix the line please? Thanks.

O yeah, just fix the line.....no problem, i'll make the phone call?????????????

Wets is the starter for 1 or 2 more games. Then it's time for the Dixon era to begin. With Mr West backing him up. Hopefully Allen never runs the ball again. A few catches and ST are where Allen belongs. Not running the ball though

Flacco right now is being hurt with his yards per attempt. Stats in general need context as you are already fully aware, nothing makes me more mad than a QB throwing screens that gets significant YAC, like Andy Dalton.

Yeah I most honestly I thought fans had figured out that Passer Rating means nothing. Its not like coaches or players take something like that seriously, and I've seen coaches laugh at it.

Most fans are obsessed with stats, especially fans of teams with no championships to brag about. Hence the old phrase, stats are for losers

I mean I have no issue with stats in general... its one of the few ways to judge individual or even team performances without just playing the "win" card, because there's a lot more that goes into success than just winning, both at an individual and at a team level.

But some people rely on stats that they don't understand, like Passer Rating. The stat doesn't actually tell you anything, nor does anybody know how to draw any conclusions from it.
