Bringing in OL help. Liedtke to workout tomorrow.

Probably a potential practice squad workout and nothing more. These types of guys work out for us every single week pretty much.

I am surprised by this.  I thought Skura was a natural interior OL choice.

One question I have...why is Blaine Clausell on the PS if he is not a consideration for activation when the Ravens lose 2 tackles?

Honestly I'm more concerned with Lewis. He's our best left guard and I hope we get him back out there this week.

What is the nature of his injury?

This guy might be looked at as a potential replacement for Hurst actually, not on the interior. Mostly played at LT from what I could see.

Have to assume Lewis will be back next week. Was active in case of emergencies, held out of game because he hadn't practiced all week.

More or less this.

Does make you wonder about urschel though. Hope he's getting healthy enough to play if needed

I'll just post this here since it doesn't deserve it's own thread, but lots of guys in for workouts today.  Not often it gets reported who the Ravens actually have in.

I think we're looking for a back up LT honestly. Lewis being active last game makes me really doubt that he won't be able to suit up next week. Back up LT should be the biggest concern on the OL right now.

I read that Lewis passed concussion protocol and will play. Any word on Stanley or Dixon?

Stanley did not practice, Dixon was full participant.

Probably looking to bring in a backup to Hurst for this weekend if Stanley can't go. If Stanley is out and Hurst or Wagner gets hurt (some around here would probably cheer if either of these guys did after last week) we'd truly be in panic mode.

If they were looking for another option at T, they'd have already been here by now learning the playbook.  I'd guess you could have Clausell move up from the PS if we really need him, but otherwise, this OL is what you're getting on Sunday at this point.

Apparently the Patriots plan to release Jonathan Cooper. Wonder if the Ravens throw him a look.

I don't know, thinking it doesn't look too promising. A #7 draft pick washes out at Arizona, traded to New England and doesn't see 1 snap in 4 games? Especially considering all the injuries they've had on the line.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a look at him, but I wouldn't expect a signing.

What an amazing bust he's been lol. He was supposed to be such a safe, boring pick too. Warmack is kind of a disappointment too from that same first round, both top-10 picks.

I don't say to give him a look because he's even been serviceable or anything decent, but he is a former high pick and the Ravens have a much better track record of developing offensive lineman than the Patriots.

Plus, the Ravens depth is less than desirable

There is no harm on kicking the tires on Cooper.  With our o-line the way it is I would fully expect the FO to do it actually.

I think you definitely have to kick the tires on Cooper. The only 2 questions I'd have are, is the foot healthy and can he play Center? Honestly as I go back and breakdown all 4 games, I'm willing to say 80% of the issues this offense is facing stems from having a poor Oline right now. So with that being said I think the Ravens can't afford not to take every opportunity to upgrade the unit. Having a stout Center that can move some bodies and stay in front of his man on passing down will be huge to this offense.

I said the same thing with Forsett that i'll say about Zuttah, the offense cannot continue to rely on him if they want to be successful and if neither Jensen nor Urschel is the answer they must look outside the organization or PS to find the answer.

So Alex Lewis isnt such a terrible draft pick after all eh?  He isn't great, but he sure is mauling hard as a rookie straight from camp.
