[News] Elvis Dumervil 'Felt Rusty' In First Game Back

16 posts in this topic

Love Dooms honesty, and expectations......Its a shame a player coming back from injury can only get up to speed playing real games, would be nice if there were a minor league team to send him down to for a few games.....:)

We get Dixon and Waller back next week. Put the loss behind you and move on.

Dixon will be eased back in and Waller will have little if any impact, and may even be placed on the practice squad since he would be the
4th-string TE.

It would be great if our offense was predicated on protecting Joe.

If we had the money to keep KO, and with Stanley we would have, but it will be very good over the next few years with Stanley and Lewis. Urschel will be our future center as well......When your good for so long, the cap space is our biggest enemy in keeping players.....

What, exactly, is the "foot area"? It's either part of the foot or it's not. Modern medicine deals with specificity. Please either spell out what the problem was or stop referring to it all. Something that happened in the general vicinity of his foot is unhelpful.

Dumerville has been very disappointing this season. This injury has taken much too long to mend !!

Cap space is a joke, you have 53 guys on the team, they are all making millions, if everyone took a $250 K pay hit, you'd have more than enough money to buy quality oline people.

We can't just place Waller on the practice squad. He would have to be waved first, which makes him vulnerable to being selected by 31 other teams. Should no one select him, he can then be signed to the practice squad.

Sorry, I don't see Urschel as our future center. I'm hoping the team drafts Pocic in 2017. A very athletic and mauling center in college.

Come on guys, we are not entitled to know anyone's personal medical issues. He is protected by the privacy act & doesn't have to divulge specifics.

What if he is a diabetic. Diabetic's have tons of problems with their feet and many lose toes because of it.

Is that something you need to inform the public on, absolutely not!
