[News] Without Ronnie Stanley, Joe Flacco Takes Too Many Hits

Sitting those 2 was a horrible decision Harbs needs to lose that Stupid no practice, no play policy.
Hurst cant block anything, Harbs better have alternative options cause Hurst cant hack it
Also Judon has to play next week..Zero sacks on Carr, with Dumervil back. So correa has to sit over Judon. That made a huge impact on the game too..Zero Pass Rush

Fire Trestman. Allergic to running. 4 straight passes to end game, after west gets you to midfield. Another 50 pass game..he will get Joe killed

True ..Joe did take a few sacks, but that is no excuse for over throwing the full back on the 3 yard line, plus he still is Under throwing all the deep receivers. Tressman has brought his Chicago Offence to Baltimore. So how do you like it so far Baltimore??? Not so much I am guessing. There so much wrong with this picture. No O-line, No open receivers, No separation, No creativity on plays. Yep...that's the Tressman playbook. Hey Joe just a quick tip. If your gonna get slammed in the pocket. The tuck it and run. Even if you get 2 yards and slide that is better then a snack. beside they won't hit you. They can't without a huge penalty. Come on Man

YES it is... When you are rushed, or you are pressured... You had Maxx Williams there for a bit helping to block, and then he got hurt, hence Flacco's comment about "I thought early in the game we were pretty good". Your throws are not going to be accurate. On top of that, you're telling a guy who just came off of an ACL/MCL to tuck it and run against Mack and Irvin... I'll just move on now... *sighs*

And pressure was worse than 6 hits 2 sacks. Flacco is just better at avoiding pressure than say, Alex Smith

He is... How many QB's went out yesterday with injuries and concussions???

Offense has been pathetic all year even with Stanley and Lewis. Still starting slow and too many penalties. Enough blame to go around for everyone. It is just plain hard to watch but it has been going on for years now and no matter what kind of weapons Joe has it is still the same result.

Every team we face will have a above average pass rusher, that is why we can't wait until the 2nd half to be balanced, only until we started running the ball did Joe get a half more second to throw the ball, but when they knew he was throwing he had no chance for any route to develop, that's is how bad the protection was.....

beat the redskins so i do not have to hear it from their fans. o-line needs some work. not sure if there is a trade that can be made for a veteran on a team with a younger player waiting to play.

I just think Lewis and Urschel should have been put in, after Joe was put on his back after the 15th time.....Both were active, and if the guys you put in are getting your QB killed you have to make a change....One of issues i have with Harbs and the coaching staff is in game adjustments....Don't wait until Monday to look at the game film to figure out a change needs made, when it is to late......

“I thought early on in the game, we were pretty good, and then as the game went on, they started to ramp it up a little bit and get some edges and do some things that were pretty good,” Flacco said. “I still think we did a good job.”

Had to think about this for a bit. As in, how could Joe think the O still did a good job yesterday. From where I was watching, he was under pressure for most all of the game, they never dominated except for maybe late in game when they got the lead, and there were mistakes on the O that cost them big time. Where he may have seen any good, I finally figured, was because they were doing more variety of plays and getting more yards from those various kinds of plays. And up until yesterday only he and Wallace had any TDs, so now Smith and West join the list. So, if this falls in the catagory of gelling and playing good, yeah, there was some presentations of that yesterday. Building complex layers by hitting new targets and a couple of those resulting in scores and shaking up the play calling to be a little unpredictable for the other team to guess what they would do next, particularly as the run game got going. Ok, yes that's improved. But watching the Oline yesterday just scares me...I worry for our QB's protection and avoiding injury down the road. That seemed worse. So, being so reliant on Stanley apparently. And needing him to stay healthy. One player leaving the game has such a huge impact on the line? That's got to be concerning.

It's not complicated Harbaugh. Ravens Football is simple: Run the football. You know this so why is Trestman allowed to throw 52 passes? Maybe he should be Cameroned and replaced by Marty who has more NFL experience as an OC. Him and Juan led the Eagles rushing attack for years. No sense waiting for the bye if he doesn't get the message.

Agreed. If it isn't clear by now, Flacco doesn't like Trestman's play calling at all and neither do the fans.

Is it too soon to consider poaching practice squads to pick up a better caliber of backups for the OL? It's hard to believe with all the OL bodies brought into training camp that the Ravens end up with low quality backups. They didn't just lose KO last year, they also cut Monroe. Yes, they picked up 2 draft picks that are good enough to start, but retained the same low quality backups.

I agree, seems Joe has something to say after every game so far in a nice manner , but read between the lines Joe's not happy. Does Joe have the authority to switch plays at the line, if not he should.

At this point Im willing to sign Monroe as a backup and pay him in weed...Hurst cant hack it..Ravens gotta find alternatives..Yanda has to flip to LT or go sign someone etc...the Hurst experience aint cutting it anymore

It was too hard to watch yesterday. Give the guy some time! In order to throw the ball downfield, more time is required. Defensive ends are tremendous athletes these days. We need tackles and guards who can match that sort of athleticism.

With the troubles they had I still don't understand why RB's weren't chipping and Te's weren't staying in to help pass block. Urshel needs to come back at LG if he is healthy. Jensen got worked by Raiders DT Autry, Lewis I believe won the position by default. A vet next to Stanley would help his game while on field.

Duh, really? Hurst stinks and Jensen is no better. I saw them both get beat countless times against Oakland. Stop making excuses for them and get some better people. Did you ever notice that the Patriots don't give a good crap about who the wide receivers or running backs are, but they sure pay attention to who is doing the blocking for Brady. That is why they are successful and we are not. All this baloney about wide receivers means nothing if your quarterback gets pummeled. Wake up Ravens and go for some guys who can protect Joe, not ball droppers like Perriman.

They were NOT good early in the game and Flacco isn't hurt. Harbs said it many times, they won't put a player out there that isn't 100%. Tuck that ball and lunge forward. IF Joe's ACL is an issue, we should be using our backup QB then. Just like if a receiver touches the ball, he should catch it, if Joe throws the ball, he should get it to his receiver. Why keep Stanley out then when he said he could have played? He's not coming off an ACL injury. Our coaches are supposed to be smart and we knew the Raiders had a good pass rush and we knew that our O line was suspect so why the surprise that Joe wasn't going to have a lot of time to throw? Shouldn't that been part of the "game plan" I'm really tired of all the excuses. SMH
