Beyond parking cost, concession cost, ticket cost, etc , this is another reason i watch games from the comfort of my house.

So sad, my thoughts and condolences are with the fan and his family.

Second that. Not that it matters but wonder who started the confrontation?

Typical OAK fans

This is unfortunate but those 2 unidentified idiots don't represent all of Raider Nation.  Besides, you don't know what was said by the Ravens fan that may have escalated the situation as well.  Just hope this guy makes a full recovery.

You might have a point, if it weren't for the fact that this isn't even the first act of violence by Raiders fans at a game this season. We're 4 weeks in and they're already at it. Not exactly a secret that they like to stab people.

The amount of confrontation from the Raiders fans yesterday was a joke. These clowns were acting like they played in the game. I hope he pulls through and will be ok. Some people don't realize football is just a game.

That's to be expected of them. That's what they do. Yeah I get that there are plenty of decent ones too, but I'm not going to pretend that I'm shocked some Raiders fans got n a fight at our stadium.

Oh yeah I wasn't surprised by it either. I don't understand acting high and mighty after a game in which you had little to no impact on the outcome. Even the players shake hands afterwards. Just a sad situation all around.

I never understood it either. Maybe it's just my charming personality (lol) but every game I go to, 9/10 I have a lot of fun with opposing fans, unless of course they lose then their true colors show.

Fun fact -- the Raiders fans are so ridiculous with their violent behavior that they have an advocacy group to "change their image"

Welp....you kinda get stuck with that reputation when you have three stabbings in the last ten years, and there are more fan brawls than games won any given season.

The point is...it's not ALL Raiders fans and you know that.

I know that. There are a lot of decent ones. But this isn't exactly atypical of them.

That's definitely needed in this situation.  I sat near quite a few Raiders fans at the game yesterday and they were all friendly!  Sure, they got hyped when their team did well but so did we Ravens fans.  But at the end of the game it was mutual respect.

It was at the beginning too...did you see all the Ravens and Raiders players hugging and shaking hands before the game? Just don't understand people sometimes...I'm no angel or pacifist for sure, but growing up in Cape Town and in/near big cities here in the states, seen more than my share of bodies laying in the gutter...stuff like this is so unnecessary

All throughout the game the Raiders fans would chant..."Raaaaaaaiiidddeeeeerrrrrss" everytime they did something well.  That's their thing.  I actually like it and the Raiders as one of my other favorite teams to be honest.  At the end of the game as my wife and I and the rest of Ravens nation was herding out of M&T, the Raiders fans were high-fiving each other (those they knew and didn't know in passing), singing their chant and yet, high-fiving me and saying; "You guys played a tough game man!  But, we gotcha!"  I just responded with; "Yep!  Deja Vu!"  We laughed, shook hands and those cats told me to be safe on my drive back to VA.  The Raiders fans that I met, talked to, shared laughs and handshakes with were very classy.  This is just an unfortunate event and isn't a representation of all of them.

i thought one of the early articles said he was punched in the back of the head leading to his falling down.

Sadly Oakland/ca Bay Area fans have gotten a bad rap for how they act at multiple venues due to things like this.

They just said on the news that he was hit in the back of the head, fell and hit his forehead on the concrete. Both guys arrested were from NY.

I saw some Redskins fan on CSN's Facebook page saying that Baltimore's terrible and they were harrassed at the last preseason game.  I said I got into trouble outside FedEx in 2012 where some drunk fans tried to take my baseball cap and made fun of the back saying its not established in 1996, it was stolen.  I told them "Your team was stolen from Boston in 1937."

lol and how bout that name. Of all fan bases to criticize another teams label it sure as hell shouldn't be them.

They started out as the Boston football Braves and later changed their name to Redskins when they moved to Fenway Park.

There are some fans who say that there not our rivals, yet get worked up on the CSN Mid Atlantic Board about the Ravens.  Double Standard.

I was about to post this so we all fans can pray for Joseph Bauer's recovery...What an avoidable tragedy...These 2 criminal Oakland fans should be prosecuted at max prison times for their deathly assaults......

Send my prayers for Bauer's family...
