Count me one more who QB who is paid like him but still has strong O-line, strong running game, great defense.. everything..,Pretty sure no one gets it when QB is paid him. He is paid that much to hide teams deficiency..If you needed all that to win, then we are better with Ryan Mallett or Tyrod Taylor or any other cheaper QB.

Its not Flaccos fault..Trestman is INEPT. Hes getting Joe killed out there. 50 plus throws with bum Hurst&Jensson out there You got West out there running all over Raiders 100 plus yrds. Yet Trestman is allergic to running. He doesnt chip or leave a TE in to help the bums on the o line...
So inept. With a legit O coordinator Ravens are still undefeated

If Flacco ever played even 80% of what he is paid, we won't have to sweat it out to win games against Cleveland or jags or buffalo. The reason these games are never more than 1 score win or less is because every other part of Ravens' team except QB is better then what they are paid.

If their roster and coaching staff was given to any other decent average paid QB, we would have just as many if not more wins in last 9 years since Flacco is playing

We need to make changes on both lines. Still time to get it going. Joe needs a comfort zone but seldom has one. And the pass rush was embarrasing. Look at the time Carr had to throw the winning TD. Keep in mind...Our last quarter of the regular season is brutal. Playoffs?

Flacco put it Aiken's arms; just like Wallace's end zone drop(earlier game), just like Lee Evans end zone drop.
Aiken whined his way into the lineup and SUCKED! He blew tackles on special teams and cost us when it mattered. Flacco put the ball where it needed to be and it should've been caught!
That being said...when you only need a few yards for Tuck...Why didn't we run a few yards? Why did we play loose defense on Oakland's last TD drive? Why did we go for 2(earlier in the game) when there was so much time left in the game?(reminder...we lost by 1)
They're all coaching decisions....not Flaccos.

I agree with every Joe Flacco bashing here..Because we are fans its hard to accept. Everytime he plays well(which is like once in every 5 games) there will be 10 different articles on this site praising (i.e. look at his opponent today, Raiders won the game just because of him despite our very good defense). Imaging Flacco and this pathetic offense playing against our own defense, I bet offense wouldn't score 15 points all season long!

In the end, I pledge not to praise Flacco or feel good about him anymore, not even if he plays lights out. I have had enough sample size in 9 years to come to conclusion that he is not worth the money he is paid! Ravens organization made a mistake in paying him that much of money!

I couldn't understand why Trestman didn't start chipping Raiders de's with rb's and te's the tackles were getting whipped. Jensen wasn't solid at all in pass blocking where was Urshel? We lost throwing the ball 4 times after having a 18 yard run and having a time out in our pocket?? Overall the Ravens lost by 1pt but I think we lost because we were outcoached and penalties. Harbaugh has got to understand every point counts and no matter what TAKE THE POINTS! This has happened far to often. We gotta play smart period way too many penalties that killed drives and kept drives going.

we can't be watching the same games we have two more winnable games left this year if we continue to play the same but with the D getting no pass rush an us having a practice squad CB aka Wright starting is not helping at all an on offense you have lots of weapons an still can make key plays but i blame Oc an joe this is just embarrassing to watch an you can defend them all you want but as long as tresstmen is the OC we will lose every season so please FO get rid of this clown

Yep. As long as Joe keep throwing off his back foot, expect bad throws from time to time. He just doesn't look comfortable in the pocket. Not that having Zuttah, Jensen and Hurst would instill any degree of comfort level....
Ravens didn't quit, but still have a long way to go to compete against the best in the NFL.

This is clearly on Flacco. Far too many times he has done this. He has been the weak link more often than not. This defense has carried this man most of his career. He had one good run - the 2012 playoffs. He has parlayed that into 2 $120M+ contracts.

I tell you, I really don't care much about the opinion of the sports media, but Flacco is the reason the Ravens don't get much respect despite our otherwise hard nosed tradition.

I'm sure next week we'll be reading on these boards from some fans to put the ball in Joe Cool's hands. SMH!

Agree with 20306cab. It's frustrating to watch incredible competitors like Smith Sr. play their hearts out and have a player like Flacco lay an egg.

I hate it when our FO has to suck up to Flacco and pay him top 5 money at the costliest position in football, when every year we are letting players go in the free agency every year. players who we have developed into becoming very good players and then we see them play for other teams.
i.e Boldin, Torrey Smith, Osemele, Ngata, Oher and many more..how many players have we let go since last 5 years..Every year we as fans are told by front office and this website that ravens' are just not going to pay that much, or worse they can't afford.. Afford???, you can afford that middle of the pack average Joe every time to pay so much of the money!

If you don't have time to pass, they are in your face all day.... No help from the OC, Which if he is watching the Steeler game he might learn something. Trestman is so vanilla, everybody knows what he is calling. And you sure can't take shots down field if the quarterback is running for his life the whole game. Put it this way if the offensive lined played like it did today, they won't beat anybody with a decent pass rush. Hell they will have trouble beating the Deadskins next week

Yup, we lost this week. Only good thing about this week was Patriots lost too ? They were the "undefeated favs" ... by the end of these 16 weeks the other 3 teams will have lost their undefeated status as well. At least I would bet on that statistic! So who cares we lost our undefeated record? I wanted to keep it as long as possible and all the way really, but it didn't change all that much but 1 loss, and 1 loss doesn't bump you out of playoff contention this early in season. Now it's off the table and we can play with less pressure to be perfect (in score anyway). Because our playing was never perfect thus far and we all knew that. But now we no longer need to be concerned about staying undefeated, we can truly slip under the radar, cause you know we are now off ALL the top 10 lists lol. And we'll be the underdogs again, and can feed off that motivating force.

Don't get the last two play calls. Oakland blitzing on all four downs. Why not run a draw play on second or third down? Also, with all the tight ends we have why throw into triple coverage to Aiken (??) on fourth and game on the line? Poor play calls by Trestman or Flacco. Remember him with the Browns back in Kozar days and he was the same. .....poor play calling.
