You're gonna want to go back and watch that because Wagner just got flat out beat.

Yep.  Wagner was straight beat on that play.

That's two players on a unit of 11. Look at what their defense as a whole has done this year. Not impressive at all.

To the people saying that bc we lost this game we can't beat Pitt, Cinci or NE... have you watched the NFL ever?

How you play against one team has 0 to do with how you'll play against another.

I mean we made Buffalo look terrible. They've since thrashed AZ and NE, arguably the favorites in the NFC and AFC respectively.

And yes NE didn't have Tom Brady but that doesn't explain the shut out and inability to stop them on defense.

Its a match up league. We're 3-1. Certain things are improving (run game)... and we still almost pulled out a win against a good team (they're 3-1 too) and really slowed down one of the best offenses in the league. If Stanley would've played that game I think it's a much different result. Hurst 1on1 against a world beater like Mack is a recipe for disaster.

Were ok. We'll rebound to go 4-1 get into the bye and work out the kinks.

i was right

delusional

Yeah, after what that defense did to Tannehill (they had 22 pressures on 30 drop backs), I'm not sure anyone can say they don't fear that pass rush.

If I remember right we ran after the run by West when we got the first down and then got a first via pass and then decided to throw the next 4 downs. But at this point, I could be confusing the number of plays we had when we got the ball back after the Raiders scored.

So l might be right then. All well better luck next time. 3-1 not bad. Only bad part is if we need a wild card spot l hope this loss doesn't bite us.

Depends. Based on what I've seen so far, I'd say Oakland is clearly better than Cincinnati. Nothing scary about the Bengals defense, and the Raiders offense is significantly better from what I've seen.

Yeah. Not sure what some people are talking about. A lot of people in the NFL community had the Raiders as legit playoff contenders even before the season started.

The Good: I'd have to say the interior D line. We stuffed the run and they set the tone for an entire defensive unit that really did quite well through most of the game.

The Bad: How do you give a team another shot at a first down when they are already in FG range. I didn't understand it when he took the penalty - I didn't just wait to freak out about it after they got a 1st. That call cost us 4 points, plain and simple.

The Ugly: Do I really need to state the obvious?

I'm not putting all the blame on Joe because like you said Wagner did a terrible job. With how the game was going regarding pressure, Joe needed to aware that someone could be chasing him. I know it's difficult when you are looking downfield but he has to do it.

It happened extremely quickly. The internal clock should start clicking at like 2.5 seconds and that's when Flacco began to escape the pocket, so he did well to at least recognize that he needed to move. Just didn't get rid of it.

honestly i was more confident in tucker hitting a 67 yard field goal than making that 4th down

I think so too. I would've rather loss if Tucker misses the field goal than go for it on 4th & 10 and didn't get it. I would give Tucker a chance.

How is it we "won" all the stats (passing, running, TOP, 3rd down %, etc.) and lost the game?  SMH!

Give them two touchdowns because they started at the 35 or closer.

try telling that to people on this board. I'd give carr flaccos money. He's legit ...i trust him to make the plays. just dont have that with flacco. Even last year i was saying from what i saw, carr > flacco ..and flacco was hardly sacked at all last year

Any NFL qb can make the throws with a clean pocket with time . Carr didn't get sacked once , was hurried a few times and had clean pockets where he could have eaten a sandwich most of the game .

Make fair comparisons based on the oline play

carr was getting too much time to make plays. I though we would get better since doom is back but we just got worse.

Wright needs to be benched. I would rather start young. He will have some growing pains but he is a rookie and he will gain a lot of experience.

I just think that as long as flacco is our qb, we can have all the weapons in the world and we still wouldn't blow out anyone.

Range is for distance. Not only do you have to kick it far enough to go over the uprights, you also have to kick it between the uprights. Its laughable notions like this and the commentators thinking that Tucker's "range", based on kicking rush free, stress free kicks in pregames, is like 65 yards. This is a real football game, not pregame warmups.

So what's actually real? The guy is 56% in his career from 50+. That's his "range". His range is making that kick about 1 out of every 2 times.

56%. So basically a better chance that he makes it than not. So, you accept the penalty...why, exactly? In a close game that sort of risk is completely unnecessary, as was not taking the PAT in the 3rd. Bad coaching.

I just can't call allowing 28 points "very good."

Maybe, maybe if there were 3 Raiders touchdowns on turnovers and special teams... maybe. But that wasn't the case.

Two of those touchdowns came off of a long punt return and a fumble recovery, so...

Also, they got excellent starting position on their final drive thanks to the Mike Wallace touchdown, so...

LOL Flacco has been disappointing but Carr is nothing special. The Raiders are a WC contender that will get smacked when they run into one of the traditional AFC powers (PIT/NE/DEN).

Changes going forward:

1. Stay commited to the run. Even if it doesn't seem to be working early on, stick with it.

2. T.Young is the starter opposite of Jimmy. Powers is the slot corner.

3. Dial up more blitz plays throughout the game.

4. Flacco needs to get the ball out of his hands quicker. We don't have the offensive line talent to have him sit back there like he's trying to do.

5. Remove Aiken from special teams.

Harbaugh addressed this after the game.  Said he was available in emergency situations but didn't feel he was prepared enough due to him missing the entire week of practice.

The O line, the secondary, the poor coaching, flacco's poor decisions under pressure, and the flacco zealots all suck and need to be dismissed.

We suck today and harbaugh to start with...

A loss like this, we r forced to make right changes on the offense like sitting Moore and Aiken and let Perriman more snaps...

defense, time to sit wright...

Carr is a monster man.. flacco pales in comparison

It also helps that Carr is behind an OL that doesn't let any defenders even look at him funny. There were several plays in that game where Carr could've made himself a panini back there. We've all seen how legit Flacco can be too when he's protected.

The Good: We came back to take the league.

The Bad: We let the Raiders come right back and take the league.

The Ugly: Suggs jumping offsides and coach Harbargh terrible decision cost us the game.

These mistakes were on 4th down, which the Raiders ended up scoring 2 TDs.
