Smh.....

Four games into his career where he had little time to practice and what not. You can't really judge him... At all.

But sure. Preach your usual stuff. In every damn thread.

I'm with you 100%.  Maybe Sami should move over to Extremeskins.com, he'd fit right in with that group

I wish someone on here who has PFF could check out our receivers drop stats. I'd be curious to see it. I found some site called SportingCharts, never heard of it before & don't know how accurate it is. It showed Moore at 4 catches on 8 targets with 2 drops and Perriman with 8 catches on 16 targets with 0 drops. Would really like to find out if those numbers are correct or not.

Found stats that were close and Perriman's read exactly what you posted - 0 drops.

The skins are hungry. They need to tell. So score some TDs, all around

Interesting.

Pretty sure I've seen perriman drop atleast a couple so I'd say that site isn't very accurate. Plus who's to judge what's a bad  throw and what's a drop? In my eyes if it hits you in the hands and you get paid over a million a year- you need to catch the ball regardless.

I would agree. It seems as the NFL definition of 'Drops' has been changed to add to how the definition of 'Pass Defended' translates for DBs. Interesting.

Seriously though, if the hurricane tracks just so, I wonder if the game could cancel ?

They'd probably move it to Monday if it was too bad.

It could be...according to NFL Rules. In this case a reschedule who probably happen.

The National Football League requires all League personnel, including game officials, League office employees, players, coaches, and other club employees to use best effort to see that each game -- preseason, regular season, and postseason -- is played to its conclusion. Better ST play is needed. Against the skins we must dominate the trenches. They are bad in run defense but OK against the pass so we HAVE to get West going. On the other side, if we don't pressure Kirk, all those weapons will be too much.

Those are the Keys imo.

I'm honestly shocked our ST is so bad at covering. Harbaugh is a ST guy, we have had the same ST coordinator since forever, and Harbaugh specifically keeps guys on the roster for the sole purpose of playing ST at the expense of cutting better prospects during roster cut-downs. How is this unit so bad? lol. Penalties and missed tackles kill us.

Aiken had one of the worst ST coverage games I've ever seen vs OAK with that whiffed tackle and fair-catch interference. Maybe Waller improves this by taking his spot on ST?

Right now I don't believe we are that good of a team.   However,  finding ways to win,  even sloppy shows this team has some grit.   But I don't believe we will be able to hang with NE,  steelers,  maybe the Bengals..

Wow I'm surprised to read this post because we finally agree on something. The responsibility for this madness begins at the top. Average talent, draft busts and lack of execution are because of poor leadership. The formula that has worked in the past obviously doesn't work now. When a house is shabbily  constructed , tear it down and rebuild.

Waller is actually a really good gunner, should see a slight improvement.

Based on what I've read, they are considering moving the game to Tennessee.

I believe we've seen this in the past, where they will relocate games to other cities.

That kind of sucks. Basically takes a home game away from us and the advantage of crowd noise etc.  And makes it a neutral even playing feild. I get that there would be a ton of redskins fans there anyway with them being so close but I'm sure bisciotti wouldnt be too happy about relocating the game either considering the potential loss of revenue.

We would go from almost having 2 games in Baltimore back to back ( one being a wildcard game) and all that potential $$ to be made-   to losing to the jays and having a storm relocate the  raven game. A nightmare for vendors and parking lot attendants missing out on all that dough.

Sorry, I was referencing the Dolphins game vs Tennessee this week, as that's the game most likely to be moved. Game is supposed to be in Miami, but depending on how hard they are hit, it could be moved to Tennessee.

I haven't heard any discussions about moving the Ravens game whatsoever. From what I saw, current projections of the Hurricane don't seem to impact that game much.

For a game like that, it would be more likely they'd just push it back a day or two to Monday or Tuesday. I believe they've done that in the past as well. The "move" scenario would be more likely for a city like Miami, who could be pummeled by it and aren't likely to be relatively "back to normal" within just a few days.

Wouldn't think we would have to worry about a location change to the away opponent, since obviously whatever impact the storm has on Baltimore its likely to have nearly identical impact on DC.

Oh ok yeah I misunderstood. Haven't checked the weather reports myself - wonder if there will atleast be any precipitation coming from the  outskirts of the storm? I'd actually kind of hope there is. I love ravens football in the rain , and from what I remember joe plays pretty well in it.  I'd love to see a physical muddy slugfest for the battle of the beltway. I think it would give us the advantage even though we already have it anyway.

I'm pretty sure Perriman dropped the first ball thrown to him vs. Oakland.

All of his 'drops' are of the Lee Evans type, he catches it and turns to run upfield and he gets the ball knocked out of his hands.

Its interesting that The Ravens added Brown to  the active roster instead of Waller. They have until Oct 10th to decide on Waller fate though.

Against the Browns he heard footsteps on a ball and short armed the hell out of it

Perrimen has at least 2 drops that I have seen. Regardless of what the NFL classifies as a drop, if the ball is in your hands, you should catch the ball. Perrimen seems to be soft when caching. He has the ball knocked out far too easily.

I see the skins signed Donte Whitner today. I guess with Hall on IR and Bruton in concussion protocol they needed someone.

Also see Cravens is in concussion protocol as well and Kerrigan with a sprained elbow is day to day.

I guess pff gives credit to the defense rather than jumping on the receiver. Imagine that, someone who accounts for the other half of the field..

Although perrimans drop against the raiders could've and shouldve been caught, still a good play by the corner

I love it. Then again I don't get to go to games often. But I think it's great atmosphere in the rough elements with the team.

If it does rain, which to one degree or another is a certainty, it will drive ticket prices down.
