Fitting that we get Suns Out Guns Out as the ref in our supposed triumphant return to clear skies here in Baltimore.

Dixon is back practicing in a limited capacity.  I think next week... I like purple.

Let's hope that Ozzie was right in re-signing Justin Forsett, maybe this will his week, have a feeling he's more like #27 Ray Rice & only gets 3-5 yards each carry

I guess we get to see how well the real grass drains.

Was out driving around this morning and was thinking the exact same thing.  This whole state is a soggy mess.

Lets get a W. Jimmy needs to have his A game against Cooper. Wright needs to be on it can't have Crabtree kill us or else we will need Davis in there I hope the run game shows up but not sure. Luckily the Raiders O-line is a wreck RT backup T and C may all miss the game

I honestly don't think he did. I've been saying for a while now that Forsett doesn't really fit the style of RB Trestman needs for this offense. I'm honestly surprised that Buck Allen isn't being given an opportunity, but his shortcomings in pass pro is probably the only reason he's not. Even before Forsett was cut I didn't see him finishing the season on this roster.

At this point I'd rather give West the start and 15-20 carries while giving buck 5-10 carries with a few pass catching opportunities. I know Pass Pro is the biggest issue with playing Buck, but as ive said and will continue to say, Forsett isn't making a huge impact on this team on 3rd downs anyway, whether as a producer or blocker. I'd definitely give Buck an opportunity.

They could use a tow behind air dryer on it if need be as long as it's not going to rain during the game. I'm sure they will do everything they can to get it dry so it doesn't get torn up.

Joe: call plays out of the eye formation and deploy crossing patterns deep with a delayed tight-end dragging short.  Keep running backs in the backfield for blocking to ensure that extra second you will need on slow turf. Lastly, you must stop running the football; have a release value ready every play with his hands, feet, and eyes moving toward you to reduce the distance between him and the ball.

We may wear purple all year........unless we lose a game. Then you could see a change.  :-)

I'm thinking they've had the field covered.  Right?  No big rain today.

Which RB is more of a Willis Maghee type you know a 3rd down Beast! , would Forsett do better if he had a HB Blocker clearing his route?

Assume that doesn't actually mean we're "benching" him in the usual sense so much as West is just going to get a clear majority of carries, we don't really have the luxury of outright benching a RB while Dixon is out.

Idk Zeus. Benched could mean 2nd on depth chart for game. Big difference between benched and inactive.

In the current situation, I think the benching of Forsett is not that stunning, but we have to see what "benching" means here. Does it mean he's now behind West or does it mean he's not on the field at all. No one has looked good in the backfield, but West has been better, so he's going to get more carries and be the first one on the field.

What will be "surprising" (still wouldn't call it "stunning") is if Forsett gets listed as inactive and Allen is now activated. That is a possibility, since Allen at least showed the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and that aspect of our game hasn't been very active at all so far this season.
