Dumervil coming soon to a backfield near you

I think he'll have a few very quiet games overall, being that this is essentially his preseason after having not played since the Patriots were last likable. It'll take time to get back into game shape and readjust to the speed of the game, which is a process we're still seeing a bit with Joe, Sr and Suggs.

But hopefully come that Steelers game, he'll be back to his old self. ^_^

I expect him to be pretty rusty, but hopefully he makes a difference on obvious passing downs. ZDS didn't look too good rushing the passer last week, since his ankle seems to be bothering him.

Surprising that their defense has only 1 sack this season.

Judon-ZDS-Pierce-Urban-McClellan

I Like that

Probably can add Correa to that too. Him being there on the Jags' final drive has to be a good sign, right? If Correa, ZDS, or Judon can develop into a consistent rusher, this defense will be scary good.

I wish we had Kafusi in the mix too.

I'm still waiting for one of them to really break out.

His presence is going to help for sure. I don't think he's going to kill it but we need him out there as a warning to those blockers.

I feel you guys are being a bit too timid about how he will do just because he missed preseason. The man has recorded 17 sacks twice in a season. This monster doesn't need a preseason. I'm expecting a lot of QB hits and pressure. Finish off more plays with sacks is what we need most.

Although he returned the pass rush was still ineffective yesterday.

Right, he had two pressures even though he was against a rookie 3rd string RT. I will cut him some slack since it was his 1st game.

Sure, he said he felt rusty.  We'll see how he responds next week.
