Please stop.. you're making us look bad. I guess this is not "You" again right? How lame. Ben is a great QB and has lead his team to much more then anyone else in recent Steelers history. Funny thing I will say though, they couldn't win a superBowl without him. Baltimore did it with a just avg. Trent Dilfer.

First of all, I didnt' say that, although he is. He is the best quarterback in the league
when it comes down to extending the play, throwing while under duress and
throwing the ball as he's being hit.

Most of the "elite" quarterbacks in this league would not do as well as Ben does
behind this offensive line.

I'm not one to care too much about stats, Ben is a winner. Period. He makes the
plays when it counts and has the intangibles that can't be measured.

Did u really jus say ben is the best QB in the league? ha thats a joke maybe if he was in the CFL but the best QB in the league is Peyton Manning obviously since he u no won the MVP!! When has ben won that? ok then he may b good for working behind that o-line and ill give u he is in the top 10 QB's in the league but he is not the best

I have to agree with you here and you bring up a great point.

Not alot of good QB's in the league would be performing at a level that Ben performs with an O-line like his, that is where everybody has to give credit where credit is due to Ben.

Thanks for the nice reply!!

I think, too, that you guys have found your quarterback in Flacco. As much as I hate to say it!
Flacco is a winner and it is going to be hard to "rattle" him in this game. Reminds me of Ben a
little with his quote "you can't be afraid to fail"!

Even the Steeler fans at my school agreed with me there. He looks great, but really isn't.

he looks like he is great because they win games but he is not the main reason their defense jus doesnt allow points u give that d a field goal and they will b ok same with our defense

Look i think Willie Parker is a great RB and he had a great game last week and all but if you watched the Steeler- Charger game you would have seen how their LB's never hit the holes and when they did they got man-handled by your sub-par O-lineman. The bottom line is that they do not have a physical D like our teams do and the speed of our D's are 10 times better then most any in the league. You can turn to how we looked against the run in the Titans game last week and say they looked tired and all that but we were on a 5 day week. This will be a much more physical game for you guys and for anyone to assume that Willie is going to have a big game is just arrogant.

Do you all forget that prior to breaking his leg in week 15 last season, Parker was leading the NFL in rushing?
Not the AFC, but the entire league.
And no, he hasn't had great games against the Ravens, but not many backs have.
However, it does seem as though the conditions are better for him to have a big game than they have been for awhile.
Remember, he didn't even play in the first meeting this year, and in the second he was pretty banged up.
Now the O-line is finally playing as a unit, Wiullie is rested and ehalthy, and Baltimore is starting to look a little winded.
So... maybe Parker should be optimistic.

After all, did you expect him to say "I have no chance out there, I give up?"

Ben is a ball manager not a great QB. He is a good QB who holds on to the ball too long, he got away with it with a better O line. Defense won those championships not Ben's actions.

That's completely innacurate. Ben had a bad game in the SB, but he tore it up in the AFCCG and played virtually mistake free in the few games before that.

UMM it's apparent your memory is shotty so let me remind you who Willie Parker is going against this sunday....THE BALTIMORE RAVENS

If Willie Parker feels encouraged after what he saw last week then maybe he should rewatch septembers game and ask Mendenhall how his shoulder recovery is coming along.

Willi Parker could drive an abraham tank onto the field, line up behind Big Ben, and still get run over when the ball gets snapped. Who do you think you're talking about here. Baltimore has been one of the leagues best run defenses for the last 10 years and you think now all of a sudden because Willie Parker caught his breath he's gonna destroy our defense this sunday? Do you drink motor oil? Willie Parker has been shutdown every single time he's taken the field against the Ravens. Last year when Willie was amongst the leagues top rushers blah, blah, shoot me in the face cuz im not impressed blah, blah, what did he do against the Ravens in week 9? Oh yeah! 23 attempts for 42 yards  Or maybe you're thinking about the 06 Willie Parker? Oops, nope, you cant be, cuz the first time he faced us in 06 he only had 10 attempts for 22 yards and the 2nd time he only had 13 attempts for 29 yards. In fact in his 5 year career the most yards Willie Parker has ever rushed for against the Baltimore Ravens was 63 yards...so now this is your quiet time. No more talking. What you say doesn't count bcuz it's obvious you're delusional.

sorry, but I have to say Big Jen is an excellent QB. Sure, holding the ball too long and flailing it around is his achilles heel, but his record speaks for itself. You cant honestly tell me if you threw Flacco on another team w/ a horrible O-line and defense he would be just as good. Who cares if team make Roethlisberger better, thats the whole point of it being a TEAM!

no, thats exactly my point...The fact that they have a good team doesnt mean you can insert xyz QB and he will do well. Thats why I give Ben credit for being a good QB.

People Give Ben way to much credit IMO. With an exception of last year, he usually puts up mediocre at best numbers for the season and is VERY int prone. I don't see what you people see in the guy that holds the ball for too long, and gets sacked 1203 times a game. Put Roethlisberger on a team with a horrible D like the Chiefs and Ben goes 6-10 at best.

But about Willy Parker, of course he's gonna say all that stuff. What RB would go into a game and say, man im Going to lose. Of course we all have different views on the subject, we have the "very confident" Steelers saying how "Wow Man, Steelers OLine is finally working as a unit. Look for Parker to have a huggge game." And then we have all the very confident Ravens fans saying "HE wont do nothin" So.. of course one side is gonna say one thing.. and the other will say the other thing.
