Hopefully it is just a precaution.  I guess it is a good sign he finished the game Sunday.  Cannot imagine a worse scenario than Hurst "blocking" Irvin or Mack.

if he's not in good shape or misses the game, I'll have this penciled as a loss. Irvin and mack will demolish and sack flacco at least 5-6 times.

Even worse is that Alex Lewis is in the concussion protocol and he was having a great game.

That'd be two new left side starters.

No it'd be one new left side starter and a turnstile. We need Stanley

Heaven forbid Stanley misses this one, but id have to imagine that Lewis would move to LT before we bring in Hurst. And then Urschel/Jensen would slot in at LG.

I actually wouldnt be too too worried about Lewis. I mean obviously its not preferred, but i think he'd hold his own.

That's what happened in the preseason if I remember correctly.

Concussion protocol

Probably more likely to see Stanley than Lewis. Concussion protocol usually takes more than a week to get through. Walking boots, in and of themselves, shouldn't cause too much concern.

he finished the game but its clear this injury has lingered for a couple of weeks. We cannot have hurst out there against mack or irvin. They are weak down the middle but as a pass rushing duo they are the best we've faced so far on the edges.

Ronnie's tough as nail. He's probably got a tweak, so I hope he doesn't train too much this week, and will be ready Sunday. I'm not counting him out.

It would be a total overhaul, but if Lewis and Stanley were unable to go, it wouldn't shock me to see Wagner-Jensen-Zuttah-Urschel-Yanda

down the middle oakland are weak. Yanda and Wagner are v.good pass protectors. Its crap vs crap on the inside..it makes it  a wash

It wouldn't be shocking, that line up seems likely in all honesty.

I think he'll be there. There's not a whole lot of concern within the Ravens if he'll play or not. My guess is that it's precaution.

By the way, did you see how explosive Stanley was on that false start he had against Jacksonville? I know it was a bad flag but he got of the snap so quickly, you very rarely see guys jump out like that.

I'm really excited for this guy.

Stanley is missing practice again today.  I'm less concerned about Stanley than I am the idea of James Hurst once again starting at LT.

Hopefully it doesn't come to this, but if Stanley and Lewis both can't go, Ravens very well may have to make a roster move.  If Stanley and Lewis were to be inactive, that would leave only 6 active linemen that are currently on the 53 man roster (Hurst, Jensen, Urshel, Zuttah, Yanda, Wagner)

Probably would have to cut someone or send someone to the Practice Squad and most likely call up Clausell as the backup tackle.  Too risky to go into a game with only 6 linemen.
