The Chargers imploded. 1-3.

Cards 1-3

Panthers 1-3

Rams leading division.

Yeah this season already is not making any sense what so ever. Through four weeks, the Texans basically are up 2 games on the entire division. They are 3-1 with the rest of the AFC South all 1-3. Falcons are 3-1 while the rest of the NFC South is 1-3, Rams are 3-1 somehow and beat both the Seahawks and Cardinals, who most projected to be playoff contending teams. I look at the records of every team and there is no real solid Super Bowl pick in either conference. Both conferences are wide open.

Yup there just aren't any really "great" teams. A lot more decent teams. Which I'm ok with, makes the league more competitive. You're not going to see many 12+ win records this season.

That's a bad thing for Ravens cuz the tighter those records the tougher it is to get wild cards cuz you get into those crazy wild card scenarios.

I almost won a 1400$ bet today on the nfl with a parley. Foolishly I trusted the lions to beat the also awful bears and that was the only thing that ruined my bet.

50$ :( not a big loss but the gain would have been nice.

I'm really frustrated after watching this Vikings drive. Lost starting QB, starting RB, several players on O line, picked QB in trade and the offense works like these guys have been playing together forever. Why does everything we do look so complicated?

Yeah, the Giants are a good side too so it's not like they're just beating up on scrubs. I actually wanted Norv Turner when Caldwell left (though to be fair this was before Kubiak became available iirc), so I imagine that could have been us looking that efficient.

I guess Jon Gruden raving about a stadium makes a change from raving about every other player.

Cause after watching them for 4 weeks now, the reality is that the Ravens offense is really not as good as you think they are or would like them to be.

Or as they should be.

I'm hoping it's just the lack of time together, and that things will start to gel soon. Vikings look like the real deal, though. I always thought Bradford was much better than people gave him credit for.

Agreed!  However, they've been together at practices and in 4 games for 4 weeks now so to me that's not the issue.  They're just not that good!

I'm also hoping that's the case but right now I'm leaning towards the philosophy of the offense overall. I don't think we run a ZBS anymore and I don't think this current blocking scheme is best fit for this offense. I also don't think this team likes the whole dink-dunk take your time to cut up the defense idea. Joe really sounds like he doesn't.

I agree!  Joe wants to open up the offense and pass more aggressively down field.  Amazing how that after 9 seasons as a starting, franchise, Super Bowl winning and Super Bowl MVP that these offensive coordinators don't utilize his arm properly.  And to me, that aids in him looking bad in his game play at times.

Just heard Bradford's interview after their win over the Giants last night and he said at first, the Vikings offense was a struggle for him but then, the O.C. started putting in plays that he was use to and very comfortable with running and now he has more of a command over the offense. It shows!  It was exciting watching the Vikings offense move up and down the field and BORING AS HELL watching the Ravens offense.

Tampa Bay just promoted Jeremy Butler to the active roster.

Knew it wouldn't take long. It's easy to see the kid has talent.
