Pick your Playmaker- week 4 vs OAK

68 posts in this topic

went well for week 1, totally forgot about it the past 2 weeks. So I figured we could bring it back.

For offense im gonna take Perriman. He's been seeing more looks and snaps every week but he's been a disappointment in weeks 2 and 3 on the road. So I'm gonna take him to come back home with a fire in his gut to fix his mistakes, and make some big plays against a horrible secondary as he draws the 3rd guy and Wallace and senior pull the top 2.

On defense I'll take tavon young, I think he's gonna solidify himself in this rotation and post a big fat goose egg on receptions against him/in his zone showing up with multiple PDs on well placed passes.

West

That's bold.

I'm going with Pitta (offense) and Weddle (defense)

I'm going to match and take Perriman as well. I think we're desperate for a 3rd WR to step up and do something and it seems like Perriman is the #3 here. He's being worked in slowly and I didn't anticipate him to light the world on fire. I think he's got a favorable match up this week as I'm sure Amerson is going to follow Steve Smith for most of the day. My other guy would be West who is itching for a break out game and is going up against a weak run defense.

on Defense, I'm going with Jimmy Smith. He's looked much better this year than last and I'm sure the pressure is on him going forward to produce. He looks much better this week and I think him returning to form is a season long thing.

Zach orr is another guy I'll go with. I think he's really heating up and he's been overshadowed by mosley, I think he is gonna Have a game soon where he explodes onto the scene and this could be the one. They'll try to run the ball and he's gonna light up Murray a few times, and with Mosley doing so well in coverage he will be overlooked and Carr will test his zone, and he will make a play. I'll predict a forced fumble as he lights up Clive walford on a crossing pattern.

it was 2 years ago that a lot of people here on the forums said he could not cover well....my man has been improving every year. one of the best picks we have had in a long time.

I figure I'd try all I can to help our boys running.

We didn't even have to spend a pick to get him.

Moore on offense because I think there's a message worth sending to Perriman (catch the ball or lose your snaps). and I think Weddle because he has OAK familiarity after his time in SD.

I didn't really catch most of the Jags game. Did he have any drops in it? Only saw the Perriman bobble.

@JoeyFlex5 you stole my two picks so I'll go with Stanley, he bounces back and gives Flacco time to hit the deep ball against the worst pass defense in the league. For defense, I'll go with Pierce, he is a absolute monster in the middle and I think he gets a sack and forces Carr to throw an interception.

I think Dennis Pitta matches up really well with them. And on defence I think Wright has a rebound game.

Perriman on offense, and Webb on defense.  Perriman is due for a big game and what better game than against an Oakland defense that can't stop anybody so far.  Webb's been the forgotten man in the secondary so he'll cause people to like him again for one week, only to fall back to mediocrity for the rest of the season

Mosley...

Lol, you are right. I just went with the post he replied to, which was mostly about Orr. My bad.

Not exactly going out on a limb for offense, but Wallace.  Defense I think Pierce is going to continue to shine.
