Like Steve Smith's fire but wish he would play and shut his mouth. Been with us for several seasons and hasn't made a major impact....drops too many balls.

Over the next few games, if the defense continues to play like it is and the offense plays like they are capable of, we'll begin winning games with more authority and conviction.

I will continue to say the change can start with Testman.

Also, there is a RB on the market (cheaply priced too) that is willing to run, catch and block.

Willing and able are two different things. I strongly suggest you re-watch some 2013 game film.

Really? No impact what-so-ever? And drops too many balls? I like his fire, and I also like that he HAS impacted our offense for the better. I don't know what you are watching, but I am watching a future HOFer. ??

2014 had a drop rate of 7.5%, which is somewhat high, though not unreasonable. Was credited with 10 dropped passes on 134 targets.

2015 had a drop rate of 1.4%, which is outstanding. Credited with one drop on 73 targets.

1 drop on 26 targets so far this year.

So really the drops aren't actually a concern if you actually look at the data.

Are you serious?  Do you know he was on pace for almost 1400 yds last season prior to his injury.

If I recall correctly he was in the top 5 in receiving yards until he got injured.  If that's not a MAJOR impact, what is?

Sorry, I don't agree with sitting Shareece. That guy was all over that field, covering and following the ball. What people don't realize is how really really good Robinson is. If we sat every player that got burned a time or two, we would have no defense.

Agree.  Once Smith started following Robinson all over the field you didn't here Wright's name again. Wright is a good #2 CB who has no problem coming up and making a tackle, like many CB's around the league.

I isn't really much to do with Jalen Ramsey respecting his elders, as much as it is about him needing to grow up and leave that young street talk behind him. Whether you respect someone as a man or not should not be talked about on public tv.

The problem with the offense is the run game FORSETT IS KILLING US. He takes out all the momentum with one run, so unlike the ravens running style. Can't wait till Kennith Dixon returns and West gets more snaps.

When Forsett runs it looks like he's giving the defense a break to catch their breathe. Only takes one guy to bring him down.

"Again, winning ugly shouldn't be an excuse for accepting the status quo and I don't think the Ravens are doing that."

That's right. If your windshield breaks, but you still manage to drive home, do you say "well, the car got me home allright, so no change is needed"?

That's a fair point to make. Not all that a player does on the field translates into stats. If an ILB plugs a hole in the middle, and the RB has to bounce back and choose a different route, he's already done a job. If a DB covers a WR well, so the WR doesn't get targetted, the DB has done his job, though me might not get tackle stats.

And what is with all of the dump off passes to Forsett when he isn't getting anywhere to begin with?

I'm sure if you compare his yards after catch with other WRs in the league, he'll rate pretty high as well. I haven't seen a whole game this year, but last year for sure.

There's one more veteran who should be dioscussed: Yanda. Not as a possible candidate for removing from the lineup of course - he's still one of the best guard in the league! - but it's impossible not to note how he's nowhere near the high standard performance we've got to expect of him. Atypical penalties, missed tackles...

Is he playing through an injury?

Totally agree, in fact, if you look at the touchdown plays, there isn't much to do there, the first one was a break that's almost impossible to cover, and the second was just a perfect thrown ball

Quoted: "The run woes can’t all be blamed on the running backs, as the offensive line must get push and open up holes too."

That may be true, but there were at least two times on Sunday when Forsett had the ball in open territory and he got chased down by a defensive lineman. That just shouldn't happen. Once you do get a hole and take off, those bigger guys should have a hard time catching you.

This seems to be another one of those years in which all anyone talks about is all the improvements we made on offense, and yet the defense is outperforming and outranking the offense all over the place. Weird.

Not the first read in the progressions. Check down typically is happening when the receivers aren't getting open.

I can't believe the penalties and such with Yanda.  You're correct.  What's going on?

I get that....  Several were quick passes quite simply when pressure was on Joe....  no time for reads, but even some of the designed plays were out-passes to Forsett...  It was clear they were trying to get the running game going...  but when you have a guy not able to get any footing, and you're down in points, I'm looking for the person that has the capabilities of moving the ball downfield.

It's interesting, isn't it, that when Elam dared the audacity to call Megatron "old", he got asll the heat from the complete NFL-scene - but now, when Ramsey does the same to Steve Smith, there is a debate? Even though Elam was much less harsh, itr was just this one remark, while Ramsey was obviously trying to be disrespectful?

Don't have a RB active though that would do better. West isn't the type of player you throw dump off passes to and expect him to miss people in space.

Dixon is that back, but he's obviously injured, and I don't see the value in activating Allen to catch like 2-3 dump offs each game.

Where's Juice?  That's the guy...

Ahhhh, the back-shoulder fade, almost impossible to defend without a penalty...
