[News] What The Jaguars Said After Ravens' Win

12 posts in this topic

Thought it was poor sportsmanship on Bortles part to run to the locker room the way he did.  Flacco didn't have the greatest game as QB, but he was man enough to pay his respect to the home team players.  Ramsey is three losing games into the season and he thinks it's all about him.  Young and dumb, but he will learn.

Seems they are pretty arrogant for a team that is 0-3. Bortles leaving the field to hide, Ramsey not only cheap shot Smith but I believe on the play that the Jaguars lineman got called for smacking Flacco's helmet, I believe it was Ramsey who cheap shot Flacco in the back. If you looked at Flacco he was raising his arms in the air after the play as if to say "you mean you aren't calling that," but Joe's reaction was to the shot in the back, not the lineman smacking his helmet. Also, Robinson's description of the fumble recovery saying he was going to push a Raven's blocker into Hester and then acting like he threw a blocker into Hester and grabbed the fumble is sheer imagination. He was locked up with a blocker and the blocker took him to the ground and it just so happened the ball was there. It would be like Flacco saying on the strip sack that he fought the pile to get the ball when in reality when the guy threw him over top of him, the ball was between his legs so he grabbed it. Just a little too much to stomach for a bunch of players that are 0-3 but perhaps the new coach will straighten them out, Bradley clearly doesn't have control of them and with his record, he isn't long for the head coaching job.

“There’s a lot things you can say about that. I mean if I went into somebody else’s work and paid money to watch them work and they did a bad job, I would probably boo them too.”

On Monday morning in a Jacksonville Starbucks, 17 year old barista Tammy struggled with the espresso machine while star quarterback Blake Bortles eagerly awaits his morning cup. After several minutes of complications and a desperate plea for help from a senior staff member, the 24-year old starting QB begins a long, drawn out "Boooooooooo" that echos through the chain coffee shop.

When asked for comment Tammy stated that today's performance was "a disappointment" and that many of the difficulties she experienced in the espresso machine "would be straightened out by next week." Store manager Bert also echoed the sentiment and stated that the young barista needed time to adjust to the new industrial brewing system.

Meanwhile, Starbucks customers remain disappointed with the once proud coffee shop and after years of being told of the promise and development have petitioned for fresh leadership at both the manager and barista level. In the meantime, there is no telling how much longer Franchiser Kahid Shahn will be patient with his store's lack of success.

Bortles should know by now, if you are the team's starting QB your kinda like the ships captain. That means for better or worse you stick it out with your team mates. Yes it sucks waiting around those couple of minutes for the game to finish when your losing but it tells your teammates your bought in and with them no matter what. Leaving early on says, your more concerned about yourself than the team.

Ramsey, if you want to talk then talk on the field during the game. A real man leaves the game on the field where it's played. Talking after the fact is a mute point and changes nothing that occurred during the game. Also next game, if you ever play against SSSr again will be a whole new game and you especially do not want to fuel your opponent over a few words that did not need to be uttered. It's like throwing gasoline on the fire of a fiery competitor whose fire already burns hotter than most, before adding the fuel. Just my two cents. I have seen firsthand and lived this experience and will say this, when your own words come back to haunt you, you will have a whole lot of humble pie.

the JAGS should have enough character by now.i'm not sure if anyone shut down SSR. yesterday, but like JOSH NORMAN,why was RAMSEY not on our best receiver if he's the best db.?

Locked up with 8 catches and 87 yards? When a receiver averages first down yardage, he was not locked up. But Ramsey is a considerable talent. Too bad it looks like his mouth will get in the way. Bad-mouthing HOF Rodgers and HOF SSSr is quite an ignominious way to start one's career.

Does anybody know who our best receiver really is? Right now that seems pretty open to interpretation.

Exactly! Someone made a statement in RT about not having a top 20 receiver. Well, when you have a receiver by committee and you spread the ball around, you don't have a top receiver.
