15 posts in this topic

The Ravens quarterback completed 21-straight passes, just one completion off the NFL's single-game record. The streak ended on a beautiful pass to the end zone that was dropped by wide receiver Mike Wallace.

Keep slinging that Rock Joe keep slinging that Rock! Jacksonville played a good game but Joe torched them all day and the run is what's gotta take a backseat for now but not for long keep slinging that Rock! 3-0 1st in the division and it's gonna get better no doubt! 3-0 baby 3-0

I wish he averages a TD every 7 throws. Without points that stat is worthless. BTW; That last throw was a hard catch/foot placement for Wallace

Actually Wallace has more TD catches then anyone else on our team so 2 dropped passes is not that bad. No one is perfect and their timing can only improve imo.

I was hoping that article would have had stat breakdown either total passing yards during the streak or each completion listed.   Because I got into the game midway in the second quarter ( haven't watched it recorded yet ) and I was baffled to hear later in the game he completed 21 straight an they didn't even have 200 passing yards still to that point.   Must have been all dinks and dunks.

Dump offs to forsett are useless he's going for 3 and under.

Why don't we use WR smoke screens?

Actually Wallace seemed to have a terrible day all around yesterday, but he should come back strong this week.

Great! 21 straight completions!!! For less than 200 yards, two interceptions and zero touchdowns. Below Average Joe tried his darnedest to throw this game away yesterday as usual, but the D and Tucker bailed him out again. Typical 77% rating. No difference from the last three years.

The way Jacksonville played us is the way a lot of teams will play us. Play a lot of zone to keep everything in front and nothing over the top because of the speed we have and Joe's big arm. The 21 completions was good to see but we didn't generate enough points as a result of it. Everyone knows we still have to play better and hopefully they will as the season go one.

Fantasy football has warped your brain. Winning the game is the most important stat. I'll take the win thank you. Your FF league can kiss his ring.

Did you actually watch the game or are you just looking at  the stats? Noit all picks are on the qb obviously. The first one you could maybe put on him but we don't know if him and pitta were on the same page. Second one he had pressure in his face and his arm got hit I believe. He also had a perfectly thrown TD dropped, and no one is extending any plays after the catch for him at all. So every single yard he got he pretty much earned himself. 21 straight completions is nothin to sneeze at and no easy feat...regardless of where the balls were placed.

3-0. When you learn a little about the game get back to us. One little tidbit of information for you to absorb is that ALL road games in the NFL are tough. Just ask Pittsburgh and Arizona.

Start 3-0 and you have approximately a 75% chance of making the playoffs.
If we are playing ball in January(and hopefully February) nobody will even remember these games. A WIN is a WIN. Road games are tough in the NFL. Just ask Arizona and Pittsburgh.
