until Dixon is back we hardly have the luxury to bench a RB in the usual sense so long as Buck keeps being inactive. Basically this probably just means that West will get the clear majority of snaps unlike the first three games where they had about an equal number.

If we've been averaging say 24 carries/game total (I don't know the actual number but from what I remember that's about where it's been) then I expect it to be maybe 17 - 7 between the two.

Agreed... this is the question. I don't think "benching" means that Forsett will be inactive... I think it just means a bit more carries for West and less for Forsett, though the carry totals have been split 50/50 already anyway.

The real "stunner" would be if Forsett goes from starter to inactive, and they activate Allen for this game as the passing down back.

Just to clarify, Forsett has NOT been benched, he's merely not the lead back anymore, swapping roles. He'll still see his snaps the same way West saw his prior to this announcement.

About how I see it. Guess the real question would be, is this the team putting Justin on notice? Are they giving west what he asked for (a chance to get into a rhythm)? A little of both IMO

But I still believe the o-line is the biggest issue

I  just saw on NFL network that forsett is indeed INACTIVE. Not sure if its been confirmed or if it was just speculation but that it what was reported. Interesting development if true. This means Buck will be a go. Atleast he will have fresh  legs and he definitely has something to prove.

Thanks! I really hate seeing Stanley listed on the inactives list. Not that I want him to play, he needs to get healthy for sure. I just hate seeing it and feel bad for him. You know he wants to be out there.

Still no Will Davis either...I just don't understand that one but hey. looks like  Alex lewis is a go though , wonder if he will start. Not extremely surprised to see judon inactive with doom back but still interesting.

I hope this kind of sparks the run game. I just dont like it happening to such a good person like Forsett but we all know its a business  and West has looked good this year for sure. It also kind of makes you wonder about whats happening behind the scenes?

So they have Powers and Canady active as the backup CB's. I'm a little surprised on Judon because Smith didn't look all that good last week and I blew it off as his injury still affecting him.
