Don't get this because right now Perriman should be used for long routes and Aiken for critical third downs .

That makes too much sense. Can't do it.

I get ya but this is the easy part of our schedule. This type of play won't cut it when we hit the big leagues and we're aware of that fact. So we'd like that we fix these things now.

We're 3-0, the Bengals lost and the Steelers are down 10-0 atm. Even though this wasn't our most clinical win, you'd think this place would be a little more upbeat.

Ha ha .. yeah, that's the way it goes. Perhaps it doesn't help with the nature of the thread basically requiring the poster to give 1 positive and 2 negatives no matter what the outcome was.  I haven't posted mine yet, so I may try to give more than one "good" item to compensate for that.

I read an article about Aiken, and how difficult it's been for him not being involved and his expectations after last season etc.

I'm really shocked Aiken hasn't been used over the middle, or those 3rd and shorts where we never throw past the sticks.

I am thinking that also. Perriman struggled with those short passes today. Maybe Trestman needs to give Aiken some game time.

People need to stop with this 'bring back ray rice' stuff already. He is NOT coming back to the RAVENS. I repeat he is NOT coming back.

Ikr. And it's even more frustrating because we only had 3 yards to go to get another down. First of all, this would give us more chances to get tucker closer to field goal range and second, it would have given the jags very little time to win the game

I was really worried about the extra time. And I'm sitting here like as crazy as this has been 50+ isn't a give me field goal, to just settle for.

??? Where did the ray rice thing come from in this message lol???

Really?  After 3 weeks worth of practice and after 3 games vs 3 separate opponents?

With 9/11 starters either being rookies, 1st year FA, or returning from season ending injury and therefore playing together for the first time?? Yea.

And it's the first year in a new offense. Trestman tried to run Kubiaks offense last year to make the transition easy. Now he's running his. 9/11 guys playing together for the first time and everyone is a relatively new offense.

Yes. It does take more than 3 games to get into a groove.

Most important thing is 3-0. Like last week, this was a game that last year's team would have found a way to lose, but this year we're the ones making the game-winning INTs rather than throwing them. Tucker is a beast, defense steps up when it matters.

The main disappointment for me was the run game once again failing which starts with the O-line. Zuttah in particular is really struggling and there's very little room being created for West and Forsett - I don't really see it as the RBs fault. Having said that, I'd like to see Buck Allen suit up next week (assuming Dixon remains out) if only for the sake of some variety. Maybe he could be the one to produce something special to get our run game going?

Exactly...

Never seen an 3-0 start where people are screaming to fire coordinators and bench starters. I mean, yes, there are some places to improve (there always will be), but the tone makes it seem like we are some bottom feeder and not the top of one of the best divisions in football.

CONCERN: Perriman's drops.  Dropped two passes that would have resulted in first downs.  Luckily there was a roughing the passer call on one of them.

If only we had another five weeks until the Steelers game to iron things out.

Peas called a great game. I thought Allen Robinson didn't play as good as people say he did, yeah he got those two TDs but outside of that he didn't cross 100. Didn't totally destroy us. I didn't see Hurns much too.

He would have if Pees did not make the change and put Smith on him. My only question is: Why the heck did it take Pees so long to make that move?

If you think we can beat teams like Denver, New England,Cincy, etc right now , let me know .

Dont forget we fired Cam and we were winning .

I'm concerned as well. His hands look worse in the NFL than they did in college, his hands concerns seemed blown way out of proportion considering the horrible qb play, but it's looking like a real concern.

Have we played any of those teams yet?

Can't speculate as to what would happen. But hey... doom and gloom after a win is super! Yay!

I loved that Flacco scramble to the end zone! Tucker is so good this year!

We need him to be, he's going to be busy.

Not sure that all those teams are pushovers that we face before the Steelers. Not certain this type of play will be good enough against the Giants to take home a win.

After an ugly win, I'm not surprised. It's just how these threads normally go.

The light has come on for him.  I distinctly remember one play where 2 blockers were engaged and he still knifed right through the middle of the both of them to create some pressure.

And when doom comes back he won't get as many double teams

Even at 3-0 we aren't playing anywhere near our potential. Specifically the offense, with tbe weapons we have in the passing game we should be roasting and toasting teams through the air.

For 1 I don't think the OL is set and I think Dixon was going to have a bigger role before his injury.   How often do teams come out the gates hot and stay that way the whole season?

Not doom and gloom. Estatic to be 3-0. Even more happy that Cincy & the Browns lost. Will be over the moon if the Eagles win. Just being realistic in our chances for beating the better teams with our current level of play.

It sucks that we are not using aiken more because I really like what he can do after last season. I think the main thing is that we want perriman to quickly become the kind of WR we expect him to so we have him getting more snaps and catches so he gains more experience. I think next year, he will be WR3 and used more because sss will retire.

Also, why are we using him on a screen? BP would be much better because he is big and has speed
