He seems to just straight up forget about the run game sometimes. And he doesn't know how to use his personnel at all.

That's my main beef with him.

Still not convinced it's Trestman.  Our execution left a lot of yards uncollected.  My gut tell me we're going to continue to improve.

Agreed 100%.  There were lots of plays where our receivers were open (or covered, but still in position to make a catch) and the play just wasn't executed properly.

Chicago fans all said the same things about him. Where there's smoke...

Yep.  I know for a fact that they were furious with his abandonment of the run game, but I know there were times where they were happy with the passing game because they did have some semblance of a vertical attack.  We've seen virtually none of that so far.

Bad: The second half offense, special teams, and this stupid dink and dunk Trestman insists on employing

Good: Defense, we won, and Jacksonville is incredibly stupid

It looks like our strategy this year is "win until we're actually good." We need to get much better but I'm okay with it. Much rather be the worst 3-0 team than the best 0-3 team like we were last year.

This.  I think the offense is still feeling things out... at least I hope.  Really wish we made a move for Sitton.

Of course it's not all on Trestman . Terrible penalties , poor blocking , Perriman's hands (rather see Moore at this point ) , etc.

But Trestman is not creative , never surprises me and I can call out every run play before it happens. That hasn't happened since Cam .

Did somebody ask to call up Ray Rice? I don't see the harm in that... he'll most certainly add a spark and make us all feel good about second chances.

I don't blame trestman tbh because there were a couple of key miscommunications b/w flacco and his receivers. One led to a punt and another led to an interception. Also, Wallace dropped an easy touchdown.

I think it has a ton to do with Trestman - sure it's not entire his fault but the bad play calling and lack of any adjustments is squarely on his shoulders. Our biggest offensive strength is our speed and the only time Trestman calls deep plays are when they're limited by the end zone, then we wonder how guys like Haden can keep up and pick it off - it's because Flacco is trying not to throw it out of the back of the endzone while trying to throw it far enough to hit the WR, that's an incredibly small window. Call deep balls when we've got room man. I won't blame the lack of run game totally on him but you'd think he'd at least try something new after our running game has sucked two games in a row but nope, just the same old plays and shotgun runs that rarely, if ever, work. Replacing Zuttah and Lewis would help the running and maybe we'd get more out of Trestman but based off what we've gotten he deserves at least a majority of the blame.

That statement is said after every game so far M3.  And it hasn't happened yet!

So, if it is not Trestman and our execution is poor...execution is on the personnel..no?

Well Forsett is slowwwww. We need Dixon back asap and watch Forsett's minutes drop like a rock .

Dixon will revive this nonexistent run game .

Aiken has seemingly been almost completely tossed from the gameplan.  I don't think anyone here expected a repeat of his numbers last year, but I think we know he can do a lot more than what he's doing now.

Was our execution poor? By my count, Flacco and the offense were on fire most of the game. Then our ROOKIES make *rookie* mistakes that everyone makes, and Jacksonville played defense because their season is already on the line. You do know sometimes that happens without it meaning our team is bad, right?

Really?  After 3 weeks worth of practice and after 3 games vs 3 separate opponents?

Don't get this because right now Perriman should be used for long routes and Aiken for critical third downs .

The MVP of the game goes to Tucker and it's not even a question

Without a doubt! I know tucker is money but I still don't like how they just get around 55 yard range  and literally don't seem to mind not getting a first down, because hey Tucker will bail us out

Feels like Jernigan needs an assist at least lol. He was great in the 4th quarter

The good:  Defense and young talents keeps popping out(Tavon Young)

The bad:  Ronnies uncanny ability to replicate Oher's penalty

The awful: Joe +120mill Flacco

I'm beginning to wonder in you even watch the Ravens play football.

The Good:

Another week, another blocked FG

SSS made some good catches

The defense played well except for Wright, who got spanked all day by Robinson

The Bad:

Our O-line really struggled today

Our run game, it is really bad

Trestman's play calling in the second half

The Ugly:

Seriously, why did it take that long by Pees to take Wright off Robinson? Ridiculous! I would have made that call before halftime.

Hester's flubbed punt return

People need to stop with this 'bring back ray rice' stuff already. He is NOT coming back to the RAVENS. I repeat he is NOT coming back.

Ikr. And it's even more frustrating because we only had 3 yards to go to get another down. First of all, this would give us more chances to get tucker closer to field goal range and second, it would have given the jags very little time to win the game

I think it's already too late. 3-0. I guess we just weren't quick enough

Sarcasm, right?

Lol yeah. I just find it funny that we've managed to make it to 3-0 we've had some ugly performances and against bad teams.

Good teams find a way to win tight games though.

I read an article about Aiken, and how difficult it's been for him not being involved and his expectations after last season etc.

I'm really shocked Aiken hasn't been used over the middle, or those 3rd and shorts where we never throw past the sticks.
