You guys are unbelievable--struttin around like a bunch of banty roosters. Yeah we are 3 and 0 with the 3 ugly wins against a gaggle of lousy teams. That's right we beat 3 teams that are collectively 1 and 8 . Definitely time to start talkin trash right? According to my calculations we will not win again until Thursday Night Football when we barely beat the Browns. So for freakin cryin out loud will all of you guys stop the trash talkin . Time to get real !

Who the hell is talking trash? We all have said we need more work, but its better to need more work at 3-0 than 0-3

damnt i fell for it

You're right. Wish we were more like Pittsburgh and getting destroyed by a rookie QB. Or Cincy getting lit up by Trevor Siemian. Or Cleveland and have the equivalent of present day Elvis  Grbac at QB.

I don't think anyone is talking crap or anything even close really. While there are definitely signs of a bright future, this team has a little ways to go (mainly run game on offense).

I really question if you can actually read or comprehend what people have said.  Your statements make you sound oblivious.  You must be a blast to be around:wub:

We're in second. Results-wise we'd have been at the top of the standings but we got docked points for style and strength of competition.

For every Yin there is a Yang. There are just too many Yins and no Yangs round this joint . It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.

Dude it's football. If your life is miserable enough that you come on here to tell fans they're idiots for being happy the team we root for is 3-0, then I am sorry.

Ok, so seeing the game in person at the stadium, I had a chance to see some things you wouldn't normally on television.  We already know of the o-line problem so I won't go into that.

We know about Wright in coverage but I have to mention it.  Robinson abused him all game long. Why they refused to give him help is beyond me.  On that last drive play where Bottles escaped a sack only to be sacked, Wright was beat horribly.  Thankfully Bortles didn't look his way quick.

The biggest issue that I didn't realize was Joe.  Not the INTs, the his isn't about those.  Jacksonville played single high safety most of the game.  They also tried to press Wallace and Perriman a lot.  Problem is, Wallace and Perriman both blew by those press coverages about 90% of the time and were gone with nobody behind those corners.  I watched those matchups and each time I looked for Joe, he was throwing to Forsett, Pitta, or Smith for under 10 yard pickups.  This isn't even a point where you blame the o-line for not holding up because Wallace and Perriman had their men beat before Joe could finish a 3 step drop.  So many points left on the field.  It was so frustrating.

The defense looks legit though outside of Wright's pass coverage.  I don't know why Jimmy is exclusively a RCB.  I'm not trying to say he's a shut down corner, but he'd be better than Wright on a guy like Robinson

This isn't Madden where you can mesh all these new guys together and everything will be perfect from day one. There will be growing pains on both sides of the ball, but at least we're winning these close games as opposed to last year and we should grow closer as a unit as the season continues. I know you're a troll and probably not even a fan of this team, but think about it for a second.

Thanks for this insight. Nice to hear about some things that we couldn't quite see on the TV. Was that you I saw in the pool by the way? ;)

I ordered a black CJ Mosely jersey earlier last week and since then he's had 2 INT's.

Can you order Zuttah, Lewis and Wagner jerseys tomorrow please?

Why on earth you want a Zuttah jersey? He's playing terrible.

I TRULY believe that you wish we were 0-3, just so you could say, "I told you so."  Pathetic!

I really appreciate your insights and observations. Let us all take the time to re-evaluate and re-assess. Our ugly wins unfortunately disclose our inherent weaknesses. This is obviously not a team hitting on all cylinders.  We got lucky wins against 3 bottom dwellers. I have one eye on a glass of champagne but the other eye is reading the writing on the wall.

With so many guys learning on the fly and in the early stages of building chemistry (especially on offense), starting 3-0 is a really nice head start on the rest of the AFC for a playoff spot.

All we need to do is get in. Just grinding out a 9-7 or 10-6 record is very attainable. In the Flacco era we've always been a big stage type of team, we struggle with consistency in the regular season but usually put up a hell of a fight in postseason play. Just get in baby!

See things much clearer in person and it seems they've been forcing this dink and dink offense, maybe in an attempt to use it as the short run game.  I think it's to get everyone in place to understand the play book and by the end of the season everyone will understand what Trestman was trying to build.

Jimmy moves around from the rcb spot more than you think.  Would've liked to see him follow Robinson more, but each week is different.
