Looking to buy a Jersey who should I get & more important what color? Purple , Black or White?

The Ravens main color is purple, so that one was my first priority back in the day. 

If you're making this purchase because you're going to game then maybe you'll want to get whichever color the team will wear for that game.

Ultimately, you should go with the one that you like the most. I really didn't care much for the white jerseys so that wss the last one I got.

Thanks darklight1216 I've been looking since pre-season & I'm not sure they cost $100 or more , I want to spend wisely

If I were to get another jersey I'd go with a purple Todd heap.

I have three jerseys.

I had gotten the first one on Amazon and they only had purple and white and I'm not a huge fan of the white, so I got purple. It was Ed Reed back in 2009. 

The next two I got were Lardarius Webb and Jimmy Smith, both block.

The best suggestion I can give is to check on Ebay. I got my Jimmy Smith jersey (real) for $80 and the Webb one (fake) for like $100, but you'd hardly know the difference on the Webb. Just slightly lighter purple. I also got my brother a black Suggs jersey (youth XL because that boy is tiny, real) for $50.

If you're careful when looking, you can find a real game day jersey for pretty cheap and certainly cheaper than the $300 the NFL would charge you.

Looks like there's some Ed reeds on eBay. 

Jerseys i have are purple Eric turner. Black Ray Lewis. Purple and white Jamal Lewis and white ray rice.   No longer wear jerseys even on game days tho.

If you are buying your first I'd go purple as was mentioned already.  My first was Mosely a couple yrs ago.  My friends recently purchased a black jersey for me for my birthday with my last name.

 

my next jersey will be in a year or two when UA takes over from Nike.  It's not confirmed that is happening but I've heard from a reputable source.  The NFL isn't happy how Nike is treating the small store owner in regards to selling jerseys.  UA would have a much better contract for them.

I am one of those guys who only wear active players jerseys. 

All I have right now is Webb and Suggs.

My wife has Webb and Jimmy Smith.

can't go wrong with R. lewis. that's why i bought mine, it will never get old. Personally I would go Justin Tucker if you are an active only player kind of guy because he will be here for a long time.

I'm about to buy a color rush jersey. I think they look awesome .

I just ordered a Black CJ Mosely jersey early last week so that I could wear it to the Raiders game next Sunday.  

Since I ordered it...Mosely got 2 INT's!

I also have the classic: Ray Lewis and Ed Reed jerseys!  I've been sleeping on getting my Suggs jersey but I'll get it soon.

Finally  Decided on Tucker after the Jacksonville game , was able to find purple from the online sports shop at JCPenney , got my associate discount so it was around $75

Home teams usually like the opponents to wear their dark jerseys during the warmer months. The thinking is that it will be hotter and they'll tire out.

Gotta stand out with a unique, uncommon, jersey with future sustainability. Nothing says "Sunday Fan" like a Mosley or Flacco jersey (no offense to those who bought them before we knew how good they are-- you have my respect). My best suggestion is to sneak in now with the Ronnie Stanley jersey because it avoids the biggest three worries: (1) looming retirement/release, (2) potential for embarrassing arrest/indictment/social media gaffe/whatever the kids do nowadays, and (3) fan frustrations over injuries/ineffective play. The best three options for jerseys imo are (1) Stanley, (2) Urban (!!!), (3) Dixon. 

Edit: Also I'm looking to finally get a Nike jersey, if anyone knows where to get the best deal... and mods will allow it... let me know
