I think I'll make a mock soon, it's starting to be clear now.

Btw do we have a comp pick in the third?

Last time I looked yes because of KO. I will try to check on that later

Pass rusher is the top need. I said it before and I continue to stand by this opinion. Suggs and Dumervil are clearly near their end and we are suffering as a team because of it. This is causing us to put Suggs and Dumervil on the field more than they should be, and it is quite frankly making them both less effective. When we take them off, we are relying on Smith and he is just not looking at all good this year. We shouldn't rely on him to take the next step. If he turns the corner, awesome! If not, then we have a contingency. When you have a problem that is so evident and so clearly an issue, it must be fixed with the utmost importance despite the depth and investments made there. I would equate this position to safety of years past where we invested high picks without ROI a la Elam and Brooks. Trade the farm for Myles Garrett and never look back. We need a talent like him on this team.

I love Garret and he's my #1 and I would surely sell the farm for him, but If he's gone than would give anything if a WR of Julio or Antonio Brown's caliber was there. Mike Williams could be a top ten talent come draft day, if he were to boost up significantly and be considered an hands down #1 WR, then I would give up a lot for him. I know people say that you don't need a superstar WR to win, but do you see what Julio, AJ, Brown, Odell do for their respective teams? They do way more than just catch passes. A guy like them forces CBs to shadow and gets teams to completely come down on them, and even when that happens, they still find a way to get open and make plays.

I want the type of offense that teams want to keep off the field and I don't think our pieces are too far from that. Personally I just think the positions where we need help at is Center and Guard. I think we're looking for good pass blockers up there.

I'm still against need-based drafting for the most part, but really the only positions I would not consider are QB, TE and Specialists. I'd take the best player available at pretty much every other position- I wouldn't take a off-LOS LB if there was a similarly graded player of any other position though.  I've personally only fully graded 19 players to this point, so I'm interested to see how things look after I hit about 50 players.
