If Trestman can get the run game going to complement what Flacco is doing passing wise,we'd win this game by atleast 10.

I'm feeling a high number of carries for West, ought to do the trick.

Ravens are looking decent this year and unless they mess-up bigtime, I think they're ultimately fine. However, I'd say the Jacksonville game is about 50/50, and god knows about the Raiders too. Those are odd ones. I see Ravens not getting a win on some of the lower to average teams, and then totally smashing some contender. It's something they manage to do pretty much every year - lose to a loser and then beat up a winner.

Am I the only one looking at Mrs Forsett's abs and thinking "WOW!"?

Not sure if that is the answer or not.  Both him and Forsett have similar numbers.  (#s from this website)

Player Att Yds Yds/Att Long TD
Justin Forsett 24 78 3.3 11 0
Terrance West 23 74 3.2 10 0

Although they are 0-2, Jacksonville shouldn't be taken likely. Like the article says they are playing for their seasonal lives here which leaves them even more dangerous. Hopefully we can have the same success in our passing game that the Chargers had. Jax is better than the 2 teams we have played thus far so it will be a test. I still think we win and I think we score at least 27 points. Final 31-17

Please do not start this game off run on 1st and 2nd pass on 3rd and punt smh come out blasting pass on 1st and 2nd and run on 3rd TOUCHDOWN! Then feed them the run game and I bet the Ravens get more yards running the Rock! This will be a shootout but WE THE BEST!

If we come out flat like we did against the Browns, there will be no coming back from a 20 point deficit in this game. The throttle needs to be constantly on in this game if we want a win.

ALL road games in the NFL are tough. No exception here. We need to come out ready to play right out of the gate. Ravens 24 Jags 23.

In my pre-Week 1 game-by-game prediction I had the Ravens start 2-0 then lose Week #3. I expected the Jags would start better - but I stgil lthink it's gonna be a L. The Jags are a much better team than the Browns, and we barely won last week.

Dear guys, please, prove me wrong.

What is this they are more desperate nonsense I keep reading? So what? Talent will win out and right now Baltimore is the more talented team. Plus they have a slew of injuries, we are pretty healthy and a good chunk of our team didnt even suit up the last time we played the Jags. Not the same team and I don't expect the same result. Plus isn't this a BIG game for the Ravens as well?

I've always wondered why Joe doesn't use a play sleeve, ever?  Brady, Rogers, Rothlesberger, etc..., all use it and I can't recall whether any of the Ravens beat reporters or staff journalist have ever inquired.  Since it was Joe that had to push Trestman into taking deeper shots down field, why not let Joe call the opening plays of each game in order to get into his own rhythm and get the offense off to a faster start.  Obviously, so far, Trestman's plays are stagnating Joe and the offense, so why not trust the QB that fought like hell to get back healthy from a serious knee injury to start the season on time, call his plays and get his playmakers in the game.  I seriously need to see Joe target Kamar on some slants and sideline back shoulder routes, after his performance last season Joe has to trust he will come through.  He's given Matthews more looks than Kamar.

Let's go Ravens, I'm putting on my homer hat and calling a 7 - 0 record going into the bye week.

Don't let me down.

I will not be surprised Ravens lose this one. Jacks seem to have the Ravens number going back many years and the thought of being 0-3 is going to send the Jags into a frenzy. Ravens will have to weather the storm.

Doesn't surprise me you think the Ravens might drop this one.

I believe the Ravens will win in a good matchup. Something like 28-21 Ravens. ?

Pretty sure the lack of a play sleeve is due to one of two possible reasons.

1) Joe literally knows the play book that well, plus the way they get the plays called doesn't use a legend/number look up.
2) The play book is not complex enough to require it. This just means the play names are obvious enough that a sleeve serves next to no purpose except for keeping your forearm kinda warm-ish.

Most times a sleeve is to help with complex play calling or when you have a lot of "spare" plays that rarely get called. This way they can be listed and referenced as needed without having to worry about forgetting to call it correctly.

IMHO pretty sure Joe is just a boss and has no need for the sleeve since being the boss.

Ravens need to take care of teams that they should beat. This is one of them. It doesn't mean its gonna be easy, and anytime you go into another teams house when they are win less its a big undertaking.
3 keys to the game-
1. prepare for a playoff style game; dont take this game lightly, play 60 minutes and put JX behind as fast as possible-
2. Keep Bortles contained with pressure; don't over persue, provide size in his way, sack him with solid tackling don't swipe at him, blitz 50 % or more-
3. Control the flow on Offense; win time of possession, let Joe do what he does best which is take what is working. Don't be so worried about the running game, but Run with confidence. Maybe use the i formation, Full back, 2 set backs, under center just a little more, running out of the shotgun doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

I'm only worried about our secondary in this game. I see the Jags throwing deep and throwing often. We're on the road against a better team than we've played so far so we need to not let the Jags get going at all. If they get up 2 scores on us, it's going to be a long day. It's time to get a couple INT's and a few strip sacks and we'll beat them down.

I think the problem with the run game is more a O-line than Trestman problem. Although, once Flacco started throwing the rock around more it did open up the run game some.

The problem with the run game is Forsett. Go with West, Allen and Dixon. JF is making WAY too much money for his production and age.
Save some $$, and let the guy go get all the social media face time he needs for himself and his family!

Pretty close. Forsett, eight years older, $2.5 mil a year richer. Who's running this team? Duquette and Showalter?

We have a chance to prove our secondary is greatly improved and I think they are up to the challenge. I believe we will be seeing the Jags a lot the next couple years in the playoffs so im hoping we show them why so many teams are afraid of going up against us.

Wallace has one TD in the first game, two in the second, so I see him catching 3 TDs this time before the algebraic series ends.

Our record says we are better and that is the extent of it. If the Ravens can't find a way to run the ball we are in for a long season and will not come close to making the playoffs.

So nobody's talking about building on a 3 quarter scoreless streak.....But I bet there is quiet momentum building in this Defense. That hurt their pride...it was obvious the way they played the last 3.I think its safe to say that 20 points in the first quarter isnt gonna happen very soon for this bunch. So to look at this situation through the eyes of a team who fought back to keep a streak, i dont see them letting down. Its Joe's turn to put up some points early....lets get this thing rollin.
