22 posts in this topic

Lack of targets ‘disappointing’ to Kamar Aiken, but he’s trying to accept it. Brett Favre and Joe Flacco bond over consecutive games played. Brian Billick reminded how cold-hearted coaching profession can be.

We better not trade any corners. We learned the hard way that they can drop like flies and while we may have "depth," none of it is particularly good.

Former Ravens ILB Arthur Brown, now with Jags, working at OLB. In first 2 games, has played on special teams, 1 defensive snap #RavensTalk

Brown has ALL of the physical attributes in the world to be an above average player.  It's painfully obvious to me that all his issues are from the neck up.

About Billick's comments. I think for a lot of fans, they wish they could be out there playing or coaching. There's some vicarious living going on every Sunday, and that, no doubt, results in a lot of backseat coaching. It is only natural for fans to say, "I would have done this..." and hindsight is 20/20. But the sad reality is that for every fan whining over what should or shouldn't have been done in a game, there is a coach who is facing losing his job, maybe even his career.

damn it Sarah Ellison! We can get 2 weeks and you're already tweeting "Ravens finally healthy" crap. Seriously, what the freak is wrong with you?! I'm still holding my breath anyone of our guys takes a bigger hit. Was hoping to avoid all that healthy talk for at least until October. smh

Still hurts. A number 2 pick that we traded up for. Can't Play.

I can understand Aiken's frustration.  Last year, he was literally the man and pretty much the only bright spot on offense.

Anyone paying attention, knew that if Perriman, Pitta, and SSS returned and with the additions of Wallace and Moore that Aiken's role

was going to be drastically reduced.  Just need him to make sure his head isn't in a funk when his number is called.

Keep stacking days Aiken. There will be points where you you be the guy everyone looks to, to make some plays happen.

Ravens O need to start taking advantage of all the WR's they have this year. They can definitely spread out opponents secondaries.

Trades at this point make little to no sense. The Ravens did not go out to fill out their roster with more depth only to turn around and give that depth away. That aside, if a team came to them and made a strong offer for a player, I see no reason why they would not at least consider it. It's a fine line though, because as we all know too well and this last week was a good reminder of how injuries happen when you least expect them to and to any caliber of player.

I'd be great with Dixon, Allen and West. See if they can unload Forsett for a seventh rounder, or whatever. Save alotta bucks, and get better. That'll give Justin a lot more face time on all his social media sites, and much more camera time for his humanitarian efforts around the globe.

After watching Kenneth Dixon in the preseason I had a feeling that 1 of the 4 backs would be trade bait. Also, Buck didn't get that much run in the preseason so that was another indication for me. As far as corners I think we should keep all of them. You can never have enough corners. As for Aiken I can understand his frustration but you knew with the addition of Wallace and both Perriman and Smith are coming off injuries, someone wasn't going to see the ball that much. After the game Pitta had last week who knows how many balls he'll catch. With all of the weapons at Joe's disposal now there will be some players who just won't get as many catches as they like from week to week.

Sss will be gone next year so Aiken just needs to hang tight. Teams are gonna start keying in on Wallace and Steve too so he'll soon see some balls in his direction.

Nice to see you giving Forsett no respect, especially after how he helped the team out so they could keep Davis and Elam on the roster if needed later in the season. Sorry you can't give a guy credit for playing football AND being a nice guy who try's to help out regular people. Oh, and never mind about him being a locker room leader whose teammates look up to...between Trestman's running schemes (virtually non existent or totally bland) and the O-line's lack of cohesion so far, I really can't lay all the blame on the individual RB's for our lack of rushing yards, but I still have faith that Forsett and West will eventually get us on a better pace...

Always felt with his speed they needed to move AB outside, and at the time move Upshaw inside....

That doesnt work in a 3-4 defense where the OLB is a pass rusher and the ILB goes into coverage. Having AB rushing the passer and Upshaw trying to cover a slot WR would not work out to well. Some LB are 4-3 LBs like Simon and AB who are terrible in a 3-4.

Why should there be any need to trade for a running back? From what I have seen the last two games, no one could gain yardage behind this line. The backs are being hit before they get to the line of scrimmage. Maybe we should look for more wide receivers too. Ridiculous.
