[News] What You Missed At Cleveland Browns

I laughed out loud when Hester juked that guy out during the game. Looked even better on replay!
Suggs also is doing more than I was giving him credit for. Love to see that. Gives me even more hope for the way the rest of the season will go.

Let's enjoy the 30 games left on his contract before we start pulling our hair out over his departure.

I'm in love with our ST unit as a whole. Hester just jukes people like there's nothing to it! I hope that madness continues.

suggs is easily the most important player on D. Those 2 plays are great examples of how he makes it easy for everyone around him. Did u see how he just shedded 2 blockers without taking his eyes off the ball? That my friend is greatness.

All good plays by the defense and am impressed with Hester still having some gas in the tank. The offense better get it together. Jacksonville, no longer a doormat, is up next. Scoring one TD on the awful Bills, then starting off 20 points in the hole to the almost as awful Browns doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy. The offense needs to open it up more and stop with the 3 and 4 yard passes. What happened to all that speed we were deluged about from our receivers? Trestman needs to grow a pair and get these guys moving. This ho-hum conservative crap won't beat the better teams.

Give credit to Flacco for schooling Trestman and letting his guys make the plays they needed to make to win the game. I really think Joe's time with Kubiak has made him a better QB that will refuse to be limited by any OC.
But one thing is not being mentioned in the posts I have read. The Raven defense is Bad To The Bone. They are bigger, faster and more physically dominating so much that their opponents can't handle it so far. The front seven goes 12 deep without any drop off in talent. They are physically punishing people and leaving teams with serious injury problems. What they did to McGowen left him useless after the first quarter. IMO that punishment negated the Browns ability to score and allowed them to pitch a shutout the last 3 quarters. Every team that plays the Ravens will be hard pressed to win their game the following week. The lack of any significant injuries the Ravens have suffered so far is due to the fact that they are bigger and more physically dominating, specifically in the front seven. Urban, Jernigan, Williams, Suggs, Pierce, Guy, and Mosely are just beasts up front. The talent and depth in the front seven is the best in the NFL.
They may lose some games they shouldn't but that is commonplace in the NFL. I have a bad feeling about this Jacksonville game. But in the long run they are going to have a really good season and have the roster to make a deep playoff run.
Winning close games and coming from behind to win on the road is the mark of a team with superior talent and superior coaching. And special teams usually makes the difference. So their first 2 wins mean a lot.
If they can eke out a win against a very good Jags team I will be very impressed. The Jags beat Green Bay but the refs stole the game from them....plain and simple. The NFL acknowledged 16 calls that went against the Jags that should not have. Somebody bought that officiating crew, someone who had big money on the Packers. It's a shame that gambling can influence a game like that but it's a fact of life. The Jags are better than Cleveland and Buffalo and beating them at their place will be very difficult.

Where are all the negative Nancies on Hester now. LOL. Just wait til he scores, then they'll all be on the wagon. The team is loaded this year. Still don't understand why we didn't sign Freeman to play ILB but that's all good. Orr looks decent so far. My biggest concern is the CB play. The run game looks terrible right now but I'm assuming that will improve with Oline gelling time, as well as MadMan Dixon coming back. But I'm worried about Wright in coverage. Everyone was quick to praise him as an amazing player after he made some great tackles against a team that can't throw the ball....but how's his coverage? Suspect imo. I think Will Davis is going to have to take over for him sooner rather than later. Jimmy hasn't been great either, hopefully he can re-gain his form from a couple years ago. That has to have a huge influence on how far we go this year. The Weddle addition is MASSIVE though. Props to Ozzie on his SSS Weddle and Q acquisitions. Those 3 are Ravens, and were all 3 of my top fav. athletes before they became Ravens. I have faith in every level of our team. I'll just be keeping my eye on the Cbs, as well as how Webby holds it down back there

My concern with the Ravens is the missed tackles. Coleman exposed them a little bit so , the secondary must play better. What encourages me is the constant hits we get on QBs and Joe spreading the ball around.

At least Elam isn't out there then we'd really have a problem with that!! Still can't believe we kept him

I can hear it now "Suggs is too old an not getting to the QB" Obvious other teams don't think so because their double teaming him. The other side of the line needs to step up their game. Its a golden opportunity.

i do not see us losing jernigan. by then doom and suggs will both be gone which will free up $$. if he is the real deal over the next 30 games than the front office will make it happen. we save 4 mill on suggs and 6 on doom if we release them both after 2017 if that is the route the fo chooses
