Oh, I didn't forget. To me, that was a mistake. If on 3rd and 2 you get a yard or yard and a half ... maybe. But when you run on 3rd and 2 and get zero, running again on 4th and 2 and expecting to get 2 was not the right call. I could see it if we were on the 38, but on the 31 - that's a relatively high percentage FG with Tucker and when you've been struggling to just have the offense get any kind of point production, you gotta take points there.

I could not agree more. With the way our run game is going this season, I was not happy with that call! I hope we start taking the points on a Field Goal or pinning them back on a Punt, unless we are down a lot and it is getting late in the game.

And sizzlingdoom, I think we have a different viewpoint on this. For you it needs to be a top receiver to be of value to a team? To me, even if a WR is #3 at best...if he can catch passes and in clutch situations, even if he's not #1 he's still valuable in the game because he makes the receptions (rather than fumble or drop balls), and thus is worth a mention now and then.

That statement in particular was misleading about my feeling towards Aiken. I love that he is playing as the #3-5 wr on the team. That makes us deep as well as having talented players on special teams. He is definitely valuable to this team no doubt. I just dont think he is a playmaker or explosive player. Which is fine. His solid hands and good route running and experience bring value no doubt. I think players like himself and Guy should be mentioned every now and then in articles with titles such as "the guys behind the scenes" sort of thing. We might have the best st in the league and players such as those 2 are huge parts of that. I didn't mean to devalue him at all. Just don't think he's a "playmaker" on O. But we have plenty of those

Once SSS gets his legs back and Wallace continues to improve chemistry with Flacco the offense is going to improve. Don't forget Perriman and Moore either. Sooner rather than later the two are going to start making big splash plays with Pitta, SSS and Wallace charged with moving the chains. When the receiving corps starts clicking, the run game with Forsett, Dixon and West will blossom. It may take a few more games for that to happen, but I am near certain it will and then this team will look like a playoff caliber team not just to us, but to the Raven hating punditry as well.

why does everyone leave out Aikens?

Sssshhh, secret weapon lol. Like G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes.
