[News] John Harbaugh Agrees With Bill Belichick On End-Zone Cameras

It's a sad shame the TV contract doesn't designate a specific level of service and requirements that is standard for each and every NFL game. NFL: "Let's just take the money and let them worry about they will show the games." Wrong!

Good for Belichick standing up for this, even though he really doesn't need to because the Patriots play at least 70% of their games to a national audience or a large regional audience.

I aggree. No matter which game you play against who ever and where ever, the rules should be the same for all. It is not like the NFL can argue that having clear video to review makes their jobs easier to make the correct calls. Cheaping out over buying some cameras is just a sad state of affairs.

If the NFL gets pushed enough by coaches/owners, my guess would be that they change the agreement to something on par with your idea. It is probably simpler for the NFL to pass the task along and just pay the bill. The other thought that crossed my mind is you would think the NFL would want their own cameras on the field since owning NFL Films and their own channel. More footage never hurt anyone.

Additional cameras might make it harder to employ those deceptive angles to convince TV viewers it's legit. Of course, it all boils down to which angles and viewpoints that we get to see, which is not all of them.

I don't know why the stadiums don't provide cameras along the inbound lines and the goal lines. They can do it in tennis why not in the NFL?
