[News] What The Browns Said After Ravens' Comeback Win

Overall, decent comments coming from the Browns camp. I'm curious why there isn't much talk about Coleman's TD. His foot was clearly out of bounds.

With Hue Jackson Browns might have chance to reach Playoff within 3 years. Even without serious QB. There are few very talented youngsters.

Why would media ask McCown if the Ravens were targeting his shoulder? That's just ridiculous in an NFL Game. And for McCown to assume that the refs would have protected him more??? I'm just curious why McCown would assume that. None of the hits were dirty. None of them were illegal hits. That's the game Josh. It's kinda up to your line to protect you, isn't it???

I only saw the 1st quarter, so I'm assuming none of the hits resulted in a roughing the passer penalty?

Correct. They just beat the snot out of him. Our D-Line and out outside guys like Smith and Suggs were getting to him.

first off, that kid is nails, mcnown, why was he not the starter/ second,i didn't agree when coach went for it on fourth down,i take the points and stop the bleeding, specially on the road, that would of been three more points that wouldn't matter to them anyway.the taunting call made up for the TD. that wasn't as he stepped out.HUE needs to give more credit cause really after the first 4 minute onsluaght the RAVENS took over the game.if i'm a coach and i smell blood as in the QB'S shoulder i tell my defense steaks are on me if you finnish off his arm, really it's that shoulder thats been killing me since last year,i'm going after it,tough kid though,i can't imagine taking that beating for 16 games.

I think McCown was referring to the time he fumbled the snap, picked it up, dropped back a bit and was moving around then did a mini slide. The Ravens pounced on him but since he had fumbled and was considered a runner the refs called nothing cuz he never got out of the pocket.

That was class the way they complimented Joe. I believe it is the bitter rivalry actually equaling the Steelers. We never play down to them They scrap and fight as hard as we do. i think of the game last year at M & T and remember our 20-9 lead evaporating in the fourth Q. I'll bet the team brought that to the table Sunday.

The media should ask why their player targeted Flacco's knee. That was more blatant. Although it was flagged, I hope their player is fined for it.

Yep...  Joe at least got a flag for it.  But yeah, coming off an ACL, he should be fined.
