Redskins Players dislike their own Quarterbacks?

11 posts in this topic

I thought it was very interesting when I saw this headline on PFT and I remembered something similar was said of RG3 as well. Seems to me not only do the Redskins have a QB problem, but the rest of the team fails to get behind said QB, whether it's RG3 and now Kirk Cousins. In March, Chris Cooley said that nobody in the Redskins locker room liked RG3 and he was disliked by his own teammates (March 2016)

Quote

“The offensive line did not like Robert Griffin,” Cooley said. “A lot of the receivers did not like Robert Griffin. The offensive line had a problem with Robert, because they were considered for a year and a half or two years a terrible offensive line that couldn’t protect a quarterback. A lot of that isn’t true. A lot of that was Robert. A lot of the sacks were put on Robert. Want to believe it or not, they were, okay? Football-wise, they were: it was Robert.

Fast Forward to tonight and a current PFT Headline: "Locker room grumbling begins regarding Kirk Cousins". 2 different QBs, but yet very identical problems of the rest of the team not supporting the starting QB. Trouble brewing in Washington?

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, multiple offensive players have begun to complain about quarterback Kirk Cousins, pointing to a lack of decisiveness, erratic play, and confusion.

I asked the source whether the players who are griping would prefer Colt McCoy. Said the source, “At least he’d play with poise.”

1. Chris Cooley is a fool

2. Kirk Cousins is not a good QB, he's looks fearful most of the time

Yes while both are true, there is something wrong when you hear the same story about 2 different QBs and the team not being behind them and supporting them. Seems to me the Redskins need a culture change quick and get players in there that are team players and support everyone on the team.

That's why the Redskins will never win a Super Bowl within the next 20-30 years. They have a losing culture and they fail to rally around their own leader. Good teams like the Ravens, Steelers, Patriots, Seahawks, etc. rally around their QB and never, ever place blame on any one else.

Three things in life the last decade:
1. Death
2. Taxes
3. And if the Redskins aka "the other team from New England" make the playoffs, they'll be "one and done".

Look up the Redskins history, they started as the Boston football Braves in 1932, when the moved to Fenway Park, they had to have a "Red" in their name so they became the Redskins which continued when they moved to DC in 1937.  I used that nickname recuse Boston is in New England because their fans complained the played the Browns twice this year, so I countered with that.

Myth-Redskins fans are the best in the NFL and a have a 30 year waiting list for season tickets?

Fact-I saw an ad for Redskins Season Tickets on TV before the Ravens game, with their minster of propaganda, Larry Micheal doing the voice over.
