[News] Ravens React To Second-Biggest Comeback In Franchise History

27 posts in this topic

Ten minutes.......down 18 then win 23-0 the remaining 50 minutes. Shutting out any team in the NFL for 50 minutes when you absolutely must is quite a feat. Hope we don't rely on that type of performance too often. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Browns win 6 or 7 games this year.

Great team win.... I did a lot of cussing at the beginning but a lot of cheering in the 3rd and 4th quarters and a lot of nail biting for the last minute of play....but it is a good day when the Ravens come away with the W!!!

I really had the same feeling on RAVENS fb. i was like calm down everyone there's alot of time left, were not a team that plays bad for long periods, were too well coached, but really alot of other people were calm for the most part, never got the feeling we wouldn't come back to atleast make it close in the end,it would take just someone to make a play and credit TAVON.it's hard to come back at home but on the road? wow! that defense is so special.ERIC WEDDLE is a real mastermind, when i saw how bad they were sticking it to MCNOWN,I knew it was just a matter of time, but that kid is nails none the less, everything RG3 isn't.these are games that start something special and make legends.there may be more talented teams on paper, but it's heart and charictor that wins championships,we never gave up as fans or as a team, says so much about RAVEN NATION,this is game 2,if we put things together on offense we will be a team to be reconed with,SOAR RAVEN NATION!

Ravens only won because of a bad call on the Browns receiver. Come on personal foul for that? It would have been 1st and goal on the 6 yard line. Ravens will not dodge the next time.

Well be happy we came away with a W. No matter what the circumstances.

And their WR was out of bounds on their first TD. So it's a wash.

Being honest and truthful is more important than positive/negative. If your not honest with yourself, you cannot become better where you need to the most.

hue jackson is going to build a solid team in time

Hue Jackson has gotten more out of this Cleveland team than I expected so far. The AFC North is only going to get tougher in the coming years.

So be honest and admit we overcame a bad start and WON. It doesn't matter how we won but we WON!!! I truly feel you want us to look bad so you can gripe about it. Go Ravens.

Chris Moore did not drop that pass, Flacco overthrew him when he was wide open. It was one of the few off-target passes that didn't go low and behind the receiver (including the under thrown ball to Perriman that Haden picked).

Thanks for Justin Tucker, he's worth more that the whole team put together, I still say that they should add Spinach { Strength } and Bake Beans { Power } to their daily menus at least 3 times per day and a few Baked Potatoes wouldn't be bad either....oh yeah, most of them need eye glasses...

A win is a win is a win! I'll take it despite how we started, who's not playing, and whatever weaknesses I think we have. It's a win!

I think Chris Moore did drop the pass. It was a perfect throw.

This comeback is a chunk of franchise history the organization should aggressively be sweeping under the carpet never to be spoken of again. The Cleveland Browns ... are you kidding me? smh

He for sure dropped it. I'm excited about the quantity of plays we've left on the field, our offense can be even better.

Apparently you are unaware of how well the Browns, and Chris McCown in particular, have played against us. Rarely have our wins against Cleveland been blow-outs.

Yes, we've beaten the Browns 25 out of 34 times, but it has usually been a trial.

Our total net point average (in wins and losses) is 7.7 points. Our net points in victories only is 12.5.

Although it was a rough start and obvious improvements are needed, both the players and the coaches were able to assess the problems, make corrections, keep their cool, and win the game.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Yep. I think the offense will get better each week. The run game needs work.

These are the type of games we managed to lose every single time last year. Being down 3 TDs that early they  could've easily just went through the motions on that extra point. But that's not  ravens football. We fight for every inch. And turns out that one simple extra point block made all the difference In the world.

Once we get our running game going and get doom back we'll be in good shape.

And how bout Dennis Pitta fellas!?

I agree with everyone's post so far, except Crusader. Coleman was out of bounds, so the game shouldn't have come down to that last drive like that. Yes, there were some other ticky tacky calls along the way on both sides and we prevailed. Need to put it behind us and prepare for JAX. Another road game.

I'm most disappointed in the NFL not having camera's that can pick up the back of the end zone.  Had it been a Raven catch under the same circumstance, I bet they would have found a way to dispute it.  Also, on their worst angle of the replay you could see the white turf kick up as he planted the second foot down, their end zone was that funky brown color.  I thought the taunting call was appropriate, considering had he drop the ball, gave it to the ref, ran with it to his sideline he would have been golden.  But, to toss it back at the player who forced him out of bounds, I think is legit.  Not only that, it was an off-setting penalty and the Browns didn't lose any yards they basically got a do over and failed to execute.  Game over!
