Game ball week 2.

Unfortunately, I only watched the 1st quarter so I really can't contribute.

But if you had to give the game ball to ONE player, who would you give it to?

Tucker.

Also to echo, pitta and jernigan. Definitely the best on each side of the ball.

Judon had another strong performance but wasn't finishing. I also saw Lawrence guy bringing some disruption and Michael pierce made the most of limited opportunities. Tavon young with the 2 pointer but also with a stellar open field tackle on the final drive.

Our guys are playing well as a whole. The browns kind of just got lucky out the gate with 3 quick scores ( the first one was out of bounds) and caught us off guard. Once we adapted to what they were doing they didnt stand a chance. If not for that abberation in the first quarter we really would have beaten up on them. Once this team starts clicking and truly finds its identity we can really get the ball Rollin. The running game is a big part of this. I think we should give buck Allen a shot to see if he can provide a spark... If not just wait for Dixon who should be ready by Oakland and I can almost guarantee he will get  this rb corps hummin.

I would say Pitta. He really played a solid game, and made some big catches. It's nice to see him out there after all of the injuries he's sustained and contributing to wins.

Offense: Pitta. Big 3rd down conversions, and whenever we needed a big play he made it with YAC.

Defense: Jernigan. Pushed the pocket, created pressure and finished. He's definitely picked up his game so far this year. And, his pressure helped create the multiple hard hits on McCown that clearly effected his game the rest of the way.

Special Teams: Tucker/Guy/Young. Tucker went 3/3 and nailed a couple longer ones of 52 and 49 yards. With their kicker missing one and having one blocked, it makes you appreciate having an automatic guy on our side. And Guy/Young because of the XP block and subsequent return. It put our first points on the board and seemingly swung the momentum permanently in our favor. Before that, nothing was going our way. After, we came out firing and nothing went the Browns way.
