[News] Game Recap: Ravens 25, Browns 20

35 posts in this topic

The Ravens pulled off their second-biggest comeback win in franchise history by not panicking after a 20-0 deficit in the first quarter. The offense kept grinding and the defense pitched a shutout for three quarters and sealed the victory with a C.J. Mosley interception in the final seconds.

2-0, divisional game, so i don't care how ugly it looked......We did what i said we would do yesterday, forget the run game, throw the ball when we have the weapons, they committed to stop the run, which they did, but couldn't stop our passing game....Had Flacco not made 2 bad throws for INTs we could have won by more, a little deeper Perriman had Haden beat...Good game for our guys who played with heavy hearts....

It's good to be winning again (2-0). Now it's on to Jacksonville who l also believe we could win. Just fix some of the issues we have today and we're good to go. ?

It was an ugly start, but from the beginning of the 2nd quarter to the end of the game Flacco had a 93 QB Rating, and we got the job done on both offense and pitched a shutout on defense. GREAT JOB coming back from an ugly first quarter, one of the ugliest in the history of this team, and playing great and getting a divisional road win.

That headline pic says it all. Our defense started playing well right when Matt Judon got on the field. He should have started from the geicko, and I am so done with forsett as our RB. He runs so predictable and soft. All it takes is one defender to put him on the ground. Unless their is a big gaping hole Forsett has to run through he is garbage. Just start West.

It looks like Hester may have been a good signing. He may break a couple this year if they kick any more to him.

Hester is a true savvy gentleman as a Returner. I don't think there is another player in the NFL that has the instinct he does as a returner. That is a very hard job to do, and he does it exceptionally well.

This is exactly the same kind of game we used to lose last season. Very happy to see us coming on top this time. It takes a lot of heart to come back from such large deficit. A lot of work is yet to be done though but I am quite optimistic.. GO RAVENS

We came back for the win, but Flacco put us in some very bad spots.

He did, but his play also won us the game, because we had zero running game.....It evens out with him.....

Might be somewhat of a short week for us as i am sure many will be going to CB's funeral.....That i know will be rough on so many....Still feels like a punch in the gut losing him...

As much as I did not like how the first quarter went today, Josh McCown has always given us fits. He is a pretty good quarterback that understands that playing the Ravens in Cleveland is their Super Bowl. This is the game that will always be circled in red for the Browns. Coming out of this game with a "W" is never going to be a cake walk for us.

No easy divisional games, all are dog fights.....And we like it that way, that is why the AFCN is truly the toughest division....

I would say most pedestrian QBs could've put up 2TD/2INT game off the streets.

Just wow..... Do not panic, do not blink, and do not give up, just take a deep breath...... What an epic comeback and win from our entire group of never-say-never men in Purple and Black, still a work-in-progress, but I will definitely take this win ????

I remain pessimistically optimistic...we won but the refs gifted us a taunting penalty. With that 1st down, I can only surmise McCown would have completed the 75 yard game winning drive. Happily though we're a 2-0 team but will again be severely tested by mediocre talent next week in J'ville.

Sorry to disagree but your comment astounds me. Flacco is anything but pedestrian. I'll take the win no matter how we get it.

And most pedestrian QB's don't bring back teams down 20-0....Focus on the passes he made versus the 2 int's.....300 yard game, is a good game, and 2 TD's......

I think Justin Forsett is far from garbage, he is coming back from serious injury, and with 2 rookies on the O line, they need to open up more lanes for all our RBs. The running game will come, this is also a work in progress.
