Jags are saying that this is definitely a 'Must Win' and talking coaches job security is at stake. It seems the Ravens 'Watch-ability' factor is going-up slightly for this game. CBS airing zones have almost doubled for the Jaguars market. The 'Yellow, Blue and most of the 'Green' viewing areas didn't exist last week. Big game.

CBS is airing the game here in the 757 area of VA as well.  Our boys better get this "W" on Sunday against the Jaguars and in great fashion.  As my late mother use to say; "Boy!  Don't you embarrass me in front of all these people!" Lol...

Wow! Just read that the last time that we beat the Jags in Jacksonville was 2001. That's 15 yrs of pent up frustration that we need to convincingly rectify this week.

I fully expect the Jags to play an all-around better game than they did against SD. I think our defense might struggle when it counts most and that might be the deciding factor.

I'm sure we beat them with defense in 2001 and it could be the same tomorrow.

In fairness, that's only two games. Not a very good sample size.

Damn they're showing the broncos Bengals here in Richmond. That's what it says on the guide anyway.

Well here in Florida, we get the Browns @ Dolphins. Good thing I have Sunday Ticket.

Sunday Ticket is after the game is completed isnt it?  Or did they make it live?

I guess I meant by I'm able to watch the full game on DirecTV without having to switch it to the Dolphins game.

Could be a win. Wouldn't be surprised with a loss. Jacksonville may not have experienced talent but they're 2-3 years away from being one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL.  They're are going to be weeks where they dominate, as weeks where they get their butts kick.

35-32 us. I think we narrowly pull out a W with their oline injuries

Nope, it's live action. You can watch all out of market games live. I live in Cincinnati, so that's why I bought it. Now I can watch all Ravens games live!

This game should be entertaining. Any word on Doom yet? I know the official inactives don't come out until an hour or so before

Expecting a loss, hoping I'm wrong...deserved to lose last week against a much lesser Browns team.

Can't start slow on the road and expect the defense to post a shutout for 3 quarters.

My prediction for this game is a 20 - 10 W for us.

We've shown so far that we can get pressure on opposing QBs unlike last year and Jacksonville is missing their starting C and LT. If Doom is able to go then we will be getting in Bortles' face early and often. Defense got caught off guard against the speed of Cleveland's WR corps in the first quarter but after that they did a good job recovering. The Jags' receivers aren't built on speed so I think we'll be ok in that regard. Jimmy has been pretty up and down so far but I trust him to redeem himself against Robinson, he does well against those big physical receivers. Jimmy has the ability to shut down great receivers, hopefully he's having a good day. The real thing to watch is Wright v. Hurns, that's the matchup that scares me really, fingers crossed we get week 1 Wright rather than week 2 - lets just hope Bortles doesn't have the time to find either. Not sure if Ivory will be playing but he's a good back, we've been doing pretty well against the run so far this year - don't be fooled by the Browns game, take away that 85 yard breakdown and Crowell only had 2.8 yds/carry and we held McCoy below 4 yds/carry as well.

Last week the Jags really struggled against Benjamin and if there's one thing we've got in our receiving corps it's speed. If we can have a halfway competent run game then we can really control this game and keep their defense honest, so far the Jags have struggled to stop the run in weeks 1 and 2. I expect Wallace to have another good game with his first 100 yard game in a Ravens uniform and his first since week 14 of 2014, and another TD to make it 4 TDs in 3 games. Hopefully Pitta can continue the stellar play. And I think it's time for Steve Smith to give the Jags young gun a lesson or two in how football is really played.

From the looks of things they aren't giving returners a chance so Hester may only get 1 or 2 chances if he's lucky, unfortunate because I'm still hoping for him to break one.

Deserved to lose? We deserved to lose against a team that didn't score a point for 3 quarters? Gotcha!

I'm getting that here in Blacksburg. My mom in Williamsburg (an hour from you) is getting the Ravens game.

It's pretty annoying that almost every analyst has the Jags winning based solely on "desperation"

That should be good for us.

Well I'll say this. After this game, we got the Raiders and Redskins coming to town. Both of their defenses have been underwhelming to say the least. Hopefully our defense continues to play well as they have in 6 (maybe 6.75 since the Bills TD drive wasn't that long) quarters this season. However, if our offense doesn't improve, particularly our running game, after week 5, then I'll be concerned.

Damn they are confident and dissing us left and right. Gonna make todays win even more enjoyable.

Actually, most of the Jax fans are calling for a Raven win. You'll always have a few that see each week through their team's souvenir sun glasses, lol.

From the Jag's message boards:

" Shouldn't the Ravens have extra motivation to win since the NFL gave us the game last year against them? "

Nice to know atleast one Jax fan saw it right!

Yea, pretty stupid comment. I mean, until you've got home field through the playoffs wrapped up, isn't EVERY week a "need to win"?

Dang- I wonder where the actual cutoff line is? Lol what if you were right on the line and got one game on one side of your house and one in the other?
