The thing about it is guys, there might be half of Ravens fans in the stadium. So it might seem like it's a Raven home game. Remember games in Tampa and Miami games. There were tons of Raven fans in the area. So that might gives an advantage and extra boost to pull it off a win.

We actually played a horrible rain game vs Jax in 2011. I'm sure you remember it lol

And the one vs Trestman's Bears a couple years ago...

Curious to hear thoughts on how SSS, Wallace, and Pitta match up against the Jags?

Apparently SD killed the JAGs with short crossing routes. On ebony bird they made an interesting interview of a JAX fan, and he was advising to try to get it downfield and test their secondary before turning back to short throws that creates a lot of YAC.

I'm calling a good day for Wallace and a field day for Pitta. Perriman and Moore should see favorable matchups so watch out for them.

This seems like another game where both teams should put up 20+ points. While the Ravens would certainly like to get the run game going, a depleted Jaguars secondary could provide strong opportunities for a good day for the passing game. I could see Pitta being heavily involved in this game. Defensively, the Ravens must get pressure on Bortles. I've been encouraged by the interior pass rush so far, but the outside rushers need to step up as well. Hopefully Suggs will continue to round into shape, and Dumervil could provide a spark if he plays. Judon has been close to making some plays the past two weeks, so I think that you could see him break through and get a sack this week. The secondary will be going up against a strong group of receivers and a solid tight end that has had success against them in the past, so a strong pass rush is even more important in a game like this. The Ravens need to avoid the slow starts they tend to have on the road. Hopefully it will be a good game, and the Ravens can fly on to victory.

If we take an early lead it will be smoothe sailing. That will be the key. We can't be playing from behind again on the road.

Contain the receivers, bury Bortles. Their running game is non existent, they have a bad defense, their OL is full of holes. As long as the DBs don't screw up our defense is going to continue to show up.

I think Ivory will be back. We can't sleep on their running backs.

Didn't rain that night... I was at that game.

One of the most disappointing Ravens games I remember in our entire existence, which was partially personal, because I spent the entire weekend s-talking Jags fans telling them that they had zero chance of beating us.

Flacco was horrible... his net YPA was about 3 yards in that game. We ran the ball a total of 12 times the entire game despite never being down by more than 9 points. Offense finished with 146 total yards on 53 plays. We committed 10 penalties and two turnovers.

And our defense was very good... the Jags did nothing. They just did nothing on offense slightly better than we did.

Ivory was on my fantasy team last year, so I know how much he depends on his OL. Basically when Mangold was out he was a non factor.

It definitely didn't rain bad. Maybe some occasional drizzle, but I don't even remember that.

My gut is telling me that even though Dumervil is practicing (limited), he's sitting this one out.

Unless he's determined to make up for that face mask call that ultimately cost us the game vs them last year.

Maybe it's nothing, or maybe we see Urcshel at center? Hmmm. Doom is probably gonna be limited no matter what this weekend. Hopefully Levine plays.

I would like to see Jensen at Center frankly. I think he's just a mean boy and strong.

I don't think he plays this week either. He'll definitely be suiting up for the Oakland game.

Jensen would be in before Urschel

Urschel is not the backup center. Jensen is.

Unfortunately it's time for Flacco to have his first of several let down games. The Jags and Ravens match up well personnel wise and it will be a close game. Though Flacco will not play well this Sunday the defense comes through with a rock solid performance and gets us the win. Ravens 17-16.

Got it, got it, and got it. I thought Urschel was being groomed for that position, but now I'm not sure where I got that from. Zuttah must not be 100%, as his last two games have been pretty bad. Possible we might move on after 2016?

Looks like his dead money is $2.2 with a cap savings of $2.4...

Urschel was groomed for whatever interior backup role he was needed. But he is the 2nd option for the most part after jensen. I think urschel gets the nod at LG though.

I just noticed the other thread about replacing Lewis and Zuttah. I know Castillo and Harbs are high on Lewis, but Urschel has been healthy the last two weeks, so I guess it's just a matter of how Lewis continues to hold up. Are you thinking that change comes pretty soon?

Given how he's currently playing, hard to see Zuttah here next year. But time will tell.

Jags will be in a mood, being 0-2.  I see our defense mashing the kitties.  Depending on personnel decisions, I think our running game tilts this one in our favor.  We come home 3-0  Prediction: 27-13 Ravens

Ivory is the back I would be worried about, not Yeldon or whoever else they have now. Ivory punishes people when he runs.

I think it's still lewis' job to lose. Personally I don't think the coaching staff is looking for perfection this year, I think they're looking to generate some hope and momentum heading into 2017 and most importantly keep everyone healthy. I think lewis is our future at RT and they're gonna let Wagner finish the year there and let lewis get his reps. Of he does really bad then I could see a change but the first change I would expect would be jensen for zuttah
