0 targets on 32 snaps in 2 games per the Gamebook snap count methodology.

TEs have 196 snaps on 146 plays (same basis), or 1.34 TE snaps per play.  That excludes Juice.

I think it's really unfortunate because would you consider either Crockett or Pitta a seam threat in the same light as Williams? I'm not sure I do. I think he brings a different receiving element.

One key guy comes back and another key guy goes down. How typical. I'm gonna remain optimistic however since we have avoided the injury bug so far for the most part. Maybe just a routine day off or a little tightness so just playing it safe. We made it out of Cleveland unscathed for the most part so can't be nothing too serious.

I;m sure if Stanley was hurt, we would have heard about it by now. That would be a big deal.

From a media standpoint, I'm worried. lol I've seen a few people calling the Jags a mess. Have they looked that bad? A lot are picking the ravens

They almost beat the packers but they don't look too impressive theirselves. They're not a great match up for the ravens though.

And here is what some of their fan base say about the Ravens.  Check out the last post in this thread as an example....

Good thing about last game against Cleveland is that there will be a heightened sense of urgency to start faster.

Frankly, we've rarely been good offensively on the road and this offense is still working out kinks ... but I do think the pass game is showing improvements. Despite all the talk of needing to run the ball more effectively, I'm hoping the pass game comes out early and hurts them. Then start mixing in the run.

Our defense will be tested, particularly the secondary - unless we can generate a good pass rush. They'll be looking to air it out, I have a feeling. Will Doom return and, if so, will he be effective? Will Suggs be able move out of 2nd gear? Gotta get pressure, because Robinson and Hurns will hurt us if he have to cover for an extended period.

The Jags seem very confident about this game. Almost over confident just listening to their media pressers. I think they're most likely going to lay another huge egg this week against the Ravens. While I'm always nervous about Ravens games, I am beginning to think we put together a total game and get our first blow out win of the season. Any takers of my opinion?

I really like the match-up of our DL against their OL. Suggs having a quiet game against Joe Thomas is nothing to be ashamed of, but with Kelvin Beachum looking likely to miss this week he'll be up against Luke Joeckel - who's been better than people give him credit for but still really nothing to write home about. And the best player on their OL (Linder) hasn't been as effective since getting shifted to C. The Chargers had a lot of success when focusing on blowing up the Jags' screens and I hope we can see similar results.

What I'm worried about is Bortles' underrated pocket presence (which will be compounded if we still struggle to finish sacks off as we have these past two weeks), Orange Julius going ballistic on us and Allen Hurns having a field day if Jimmy ends up slowing down Robinson and Wright has another clanger. Hopefully we can get Bortles off his spot a lot and force him into some erratic throws, and take away a lot of their shorter plays. Dean Pees has had a great season so far, but he's going to have to call one hell of a game again. Fortunately we do have our share of match-up advantages, particularly up front.

Jacksonville tends finds a way to shut down our run game. They were middle of the pack last year and they shut it down, and in 2014 they were atrocious against the run but still shut down our run game. I think they did it again in 2011 but I don't know how relevant that is.

I think our pass rush will be even hotter this week. We have a good shot of getting Doom back and this Jaguars offensive line is worse than Cleveland and by a good margin. I think Pierce, Williams and Jernigan will tear up the inside of the OL and Joekel who most likely will have to fill in at LT has been pretty bad there. I think if we can disrupt Bortles well, then that will lead to some opportunities for our secondary.

Looking back at last year, they didn't really torch us. Bortles only passed for 188 and Hurnes and Robinson finished with 62 and 52 yards respectively with TD reception each. Our secondary is much better this year than last, now I also know that Jacksonville is at home and coming off an 0-2 start, but I think our defense should be given a bit more respect this game as opposed to last and for the record they should have been held to 19 if it wasn't for Doom's face mask call. While their defense ranks 12th in the league, they're one of the worst when it comes to points allowed ranking at 30th.

Beachum possibly being out could really help things. Having Beachum allowed them to play Joeckel at LG where he wouldn't get exposed. Now I assume Joeckel be back at LT, meaning their LT just took a steep downgrade, and I assume whoever they play at LG will be a downgrade as well. With getting Dumervil back, maybe we can put some serious pressure on Bortles to help mask our secondary woes. Our interior pass rush has been pretty impressive; if we can get our edge-rushers going too, well, it should help a lot vs their high-powered passing game.

Also worth noting is that the Jags friend I talk to was pretty critical of them not trying to pass deep so far this year.

we aren't throwing the ball down field like last year. They've completely changed their game plan and somehow think we're a run first team now. We led the league in explosive plays of 20+ yards down the field last year. They wont even throw it beyond the LoS now...

20 of Bortles' 89 passes haven't crossed line of scrimmage and 40 (44.9 percent) haven't gone past 5 yards downfield. #jaguars

Our game plan is, run on 1st down for a 2 yard loss. Throw a screen pass on 2nd down for no gain. Force a short throw on 3rd and long for only 5 yards.

Punt.
over and over.

Pretty sure we gave up some big long plays vs them last year... wonder if they'll start attacking us vertically. I guess it'll depend on if our pass-rush gives them time.

I'm with you. We are wayyy past due for a nice distinctive victory where we don't need to be on the edge of our seats pulling our hair out. I'm expecting a solid game in all 3 phases and a fresh doom just providing a huge spark for the entire pass rush. We will have bortles on his back and force him into several bad decisions. 4 sacks 3 interceptions. Throw a strip fumble in there too from doom. Hester might take one to the house and either moore or perriman will get their first TD. Im hoping the running game gets going but for some reason I think we will still struggle to create lanes and we won't get much production until Dixon returns. However I could be totally off and forsett could finally bust out a few long runs. I'm optimistic about this game. A tiny bit skeptical but overall very optimistic. I think they will try to lock down pitta and Wallace so I actually see crock and SSS with receptions galore.

We have heard about it. Minor foot injury. Still expects to play though.

If they try to match Poz up against Pitta or SSS this game is a wrap. And anyone who has Pitta in fantasy, start him. Dude cant cover for his life, so we should feast over the middle.

I think that the San Diego game is an outlier, Jacksonville has always struggled in west coast games. I guarantee they won't be as sloppy this week. If the Ravens want to win, they're going to need to play better than they did the past 2 weeks.

I'm thinking Telvin Smith covers Pitta and Ramsey takes the slot. JAX runs that Seattle Cover 3 defense though. Perriman/Wallace up against Davon House is the matchup worth exploiting imo. House struggled with Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams. Amukamara might be out again, so if Josh Johnson is seeing a lot of time, he should be exploitable too.

Interesting note on Arthur Brown who now plays for the Jags, he's only had 1 defensive snap in two games.  He does contribute on ST.

Coach said they still have to coach him up.   Dude clearly doesn't have the mental capacity to contribute on defense in the NFL.

If Prince Amukrama could stay healthy...which is next to impossible it seems, he might have been one of the top 5 corners in this league over the past 5 years. I always preferred him over jimmy smith.

Well, only INJURED player not practicing.

Suggs and Yanda are getting their normal Thursday off.

Always liked him too but if you can't stay healthy then honestly what can you do? His injury troubles are worse than Campanaro's

I'm worried about Hurns and Robinson. They could have breakout games against our corners. We need to get pressure on Bortles early and often. Our offense should have a good game against their suspect defense.

Yeah but there was an article on espn I believe that said there was poor calling against Green Bay. I guess there were like 16 huge non-calls or something like that which kept the Jaguars in the game. Plus Green Bay hasn't looked that great to begin with this season.
