Nope it is an issue even now.... And will likely limit his NFL career to 5 years if that is what you are saying. Still a huge concern in the now. Which is why smart teams didn't trust him in the draft.

Can you provide a link that says it's an issue now?

I read several articles over again and Jack said he did not need microfracture surgery and his knee was not an issue this season. He said it may be degenerative and it may affect him four or five years down the road, but as for his rookie season, no issue.

If this article is correct the refs missed 16 game changing penalties against Green Bay week one, I know this is a what have you done lately league, but if I was a player I'd be so angry :   Why do the refs miss so many penalties against the Jags?  Do the draw the replacement refs?

They are making up for giving them a game last year.

Ravens will win this game. They came out of Cleveland with no major injuries and this isn't the Jaguars home opener. The offense will only get better each week and I'm convinced the defense is better than last year's version. They're 2-0 with a chance to return home undefeated. I think Cleveland was the letdown game and a wake up call in the first quarter. If the get the running game on track they may even win convincingly.

I'm not so sure about this game. I think the Ravens can handle Ivory and Yeldon... But Robinson and Hurns are one of the best tandems in the league. Bortles can fling the ball. Julius Thomas will be an issue. The Ravens need pressure on the Jaguars o-line to limit the big plays..

Veteran presence. Same reason forsett still miraculously gets carries.

I thought Forsett look better than West.Neither really average more than 3.9 yards but Trestman is pretty predictable with his rushing attack .it doesnt really matter if Matt Birk in his prime was out there if the defense knows what's coming then more times than not the play is going to get stopped.

Really hope Doom returns. Jags OL can easily be exposed.

If Doom comes back, that would give us an extra boost. I believe we will beat Jacksonville in this matchup. I'll say 24-21, 28-21, or 20-14 Ravens.

Doom and Dixon would be a nice little boost- but I expect them back for week 4 when we come back home.

We've got to get the running game going. Period. The first quarter at Cleveland was a wake up call- I don't think we let it happen again. however i do expect a hard fought game.

That's cool. I wish l could go. It probably be a lot of Raven fans down there because in Florida there are many. I remember on TV, there were many Ravens fans in Tampa vs the Bucs and in Miami vs the Dolphins so they're probably might be more Ravens fans at the statium vs the Jaguars and that might give us an extra boost to win.

I was actually going to fly back to Ft Myers to see family and go this game, but plans got in the way.  I was at the dolphins game two years ago, there was just as many Ravens fans as Dolphins fans

So once again, if we're any good this year this is a game we win and can't afford to lose. From perusing the Jags forums they are livid with their HC, they are once again awful on defense. We cannot let them get back on track this week, Bortles is reckless and we need to force him to make mistakes, there is a portion of their fan base that thinks Bortle's label of franchise QB is premature and somewhat deceptive based on volume statistics. Let's give that portion of their fan base more ammunination for that line of thinking.

Im looking for the offense to absolutely dominate. Jacksonville isn't there yet and won't be in the playoffs this year most likely, but they have a talented roster offensively and have some good young guys that we wanted in the draft on defense, we can't let a poorly coached team beat us, regardless of desperation. We were 5-11 last year, we haven't proven anything yet.

We really need doom back for this game. We are going to need all the pass rush we can get. Getting Dixon back will help us too. Im not happy with Forsetts play either. West is playing better but can't seem to catch passes. Curious why Buck has been down both games. Jags can be exposed in the passing game.

If Dixon isn't ready to come back, I think I'd still like Buck to be active to see if maybe he can get something going.  It's not totally clear if it's the RB's, OL, or the scheme/play calling that is creating our rushing issues on offense, but my gut feeling is it's the use of the shotgun that is creating a lot of the problems.

They had all of that last year and only scored 19 points on us(not including the field goal that shouldnt have been) and that was vs a lesser version of our defense. Most of Bortles yards and tds are just garbage time stats.I read somewhere that Bortles has 3 career 1 st quarter tds.He basically pads his stats vs prevent defenses after the jags are losing.Just look at yesterday. His stat line was horrible until the 4th quarter when SD let up.I'm not guaranteeing a win or implying this is a gimmie, but unless things go wrong in some way like the first quarter of last game, this shouldn't be as difficult as some of you are making it out to be.

The Jags are 0-2. They will be desperate to get the W.

In a way I was actually hoping Jax would win yesterday just so they wouldn't be as desperate next week.

I am mainly worried about the WRs, think our secondary is going to struggle.  We need hit Bortles early and a lot.

Going to say Ravens come out and for the first time have a decisive victory. Jaguars haven't shown any improvement under Gus even with as talented as they are(kinda like the AFC 49ers looking for their Jim Harbaugh who can capitalize on their talent) and I think after 0-3 he'll be fired and he'll be the next coach out the door.

Ravens 34 Jaguars 17

Can't count us out either after being embarrassed for a quarter in Cleveland. We have a lot to prove as well

We went from 20th to 10th in just 2 games while the Jags went in the total opposite direction.

Power Rankers are very fickle. Not that it matters much, but I like the underdog role for us better. That said, GO Ravens...just because we can.

I’m concerned about Kamar Aiken. No catches yesterday and played 31 snaps I believe. I really don’t think it has much to do with chemistry or trust. When Steve Smith Sr. went down last year Joe only had Aiken left to build a Rappaport with. He also had two training camps as well to build chemistry as well and he’s been here for a good 3 seasons. I don’t think chemistry has anything to do with it I really just think he isn’t getting open. I want this to be Aiken’s coming out party. I hope he takes advantage of the slot looks and gets some targets. He did start out slow last season so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Do you think Aiken is the right player for the slot? I would think SSR is better in the slot and Aiken outside.

I think Steve Smith Sr. is great in the slot but they do alternate. I personally think Aiken just isn't getting open. Most of his looks are on the outside but I don't see him getting much separation. I personally don't see him getting a lot of targets either.

It would be so amazing to have a nice, comfortable win, that doesn't have to involve the final drive. I really can't remember the last time we won a game like that? Tampa, Carolina and Atlanta in 2014?

I think the Jags are a lot better than the Browns as a whole. I think this is going to be an extremely difficult game to win on the road. I think that Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns could end up being too much to handle (I think that they'll pose a much more difficult challenge because (a) they are better than Coleman and Pryor, (b) Bortles has a better arm than an injured Josh McCown, and (c) Jax has less weak spots on the OL- i.e. No Cam Erving or Austin Pasztor to exploit), and I think that the Jacksonville defense is going to be a lot more prepared than they were against San Diego, Fowler and Ngakoue had very good games against the Chargers OL (which is a bad OL, but we do have 2 rookies starting). All that considered with the fact that the Ravens struggle with back to back road games could spell trouble. The Ravens best opportunity is to throw long and often, which has gotten mixed success so far this season. I definitely hate to be that guy, and I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking the Jags take this one 24-10.
