Surprised about Jacksonville...

I really thought they were a playoff team this year.

Dont buy into draft hype.  They rarely pan out once season starts...

Myles Jack has finally taken his first NFL snap due to a blowout.

Going to say it again, he isnt anything spactacular.   The fact people kept harping he is (potentially)better than Mosley was laughable!

The reason I made the post is because everyone is complaining about Correa. I'm just trying to point out that Jack is just playing in week two and he was originally going to be a top 5 pick.

Jack is also coming off a career threatening injury....

I know that, but he was practicing all summer. He was ready when camp started and it was even reported that he was getting reps with the ones.

They are going to be a desperate team after dropping the first two. It won't be easy with the way we are playing.

Of course they will. They could not possibly be any worse.

For some reason they have always gave us fits and this dates back to the AFCCentral days. Its gonna be a tough game.

This game has me worried. Baltimore doesn't play well against Jax during a good season; couple that with the shaky start that they're having this season plus the fact that it's on the road and you could have a recipe for an ugly game.

Of course, as long as it's an ugly win I won't complain.

Perhaps. Or...Flacco is a week closer to 100% healthy, our defense, who has played out of their minds for 7 of 8 quarters so far continues to play well, and Wallace continues with his Antonio Brown impersonation...

We are gonna to win in Jacksonville. I'm confident in this one. (3-0) The Raiders game is gonna be a challenge though. We probably gotta score 30 points to beat them cause l know they could score points but l'm glad we are at home for that game. ?

wasnt buying into draft hype, i was buying into their roster in general lol.

with them drafting ramsey it shoulve done a lot to solidify their secondary and front seven all in one swing, and then dante fowler reportedly looked like a world beater in camp and i saw some footage that backed up the claim as well, then malik jackson was a great pickup as well. their defense looked to be really coming together.

and then on offense they have a big play foundation and a big play RB, and even got a decent LT finally in beachum.

none of it looked like hype to me, they looked totally legit.

The Jags are 0-2 coming off that road lost to SD today.  Now they are at home, irritated, ornery, pissed off and will probably play like world-beaters against the Ravens in attempts to get their 1st win of the season.  Seems like the Ravens play down to the "supposedly" lower teams and nearly all of them gets geared up for the Ravens.  I predicted a win here and although the Ravens are 2-0 going into this game; after seeing this slow, stagnant and stalling offense for 2 weeks in a row now, I don't know!  I just hope that they can go in there and avoid the trap and get it done!  You know, seeing a dominating performance by the Ravens on both sides of the ball and on the road to become 3-0 would be nice!  Pleeeeease!

I just want to keep the streak going of wearing the purple jerseys. Hopefully it's just warm enough for Jags to consider it. We are 2-0 in them you know

Cmon now, you know better than that, lol...the better the one side of the ball plays, the worse the other gets.

Meh. I thought Jax would be far better than they are. However so far they are one dimensional and got slaughtered by SD this week. Tons of talent that just hasn't gelled yet and looks to be a while longer before they do. However we're gonna need Doom back and keep up the pressure because Bortles will pick this secondary apart unless we can smack him around. Could be a let down game but I figured we'd lose this one or Oakland and it's looking more like the Raiders at this point.

Jacksonville's defense is very bad. I have no idea how they're playing that awful. I do worry about those offensive weapons but their front four doesn't look good at this moment.

Will Doom and Dixon be back for this one? If so, that'd be huge

Doom is aiming to return for this game. I don't know if he will be able to make it. Dixon is questionable IMO, he hasn't logged much practice in and will need to build himself back up a bit. I think Oakland would be a good time for both to make their return.

I agree with you guys that Zuttah is not the guy for center. We should try another option there.

Game is gonna be tough because they're season is on the line here. I expect them to play desperate. I won't say we'll win but Gus Bradley just isn't an NFL head coach. We definitely need to play better than we did against the Browns though. This jags team and the raiders are just overhyped. Gotta take care of business.

Why are people doubting that we will beat Jacksonville? Our defense has looked really solid outside of today's first quarter. They love to pass the ball, so I'm hoping we account for that and make them try to beat us by running. Until Dixon comes back (who I think will be the difference maker), we just need our run game to provide some balance. We finally played aggressively on offense in the second half and it paid off. That's how we should play at all times. Keep pushing the ball downfield. And to the people saying Jaguars are too good to lose again, hey, we lost 4 in a row to start the season or something like that last year.

If this article is correct the refs missed 16 game changing penalties against Green Bay week one, I know this is a what have you done lately league, but if I was a player I'd be so angry :   Why do the refs miss so many penalties against the Jags?  Do the draw the replacement refs?

Malik Jackson and Jared odrick worry me. Gus Bradley will have a field day dialing up some plays to crash the interior. If there was ever a time for Myles Jack to announce himself, it would be this game, with delayed blitzes.

I think it's time we take a look at jensen in practice with the 1s. A 3-0 start would be huge, 2-1 just doesn't give us the same bright outlook.

I wouldn't be so worried about the interior rush but you know Jeremy Zuttah is giving them the password to the Joe Flacco fan club. I think he is getting pushed around more than anyone, then next I would say Rick Wagner is also struggling... Which is weird that the rookies from what I have seen have been part of the strength of the o-line.

Our coaching staff better have watched the JAGs first games.

This team is dangerous, but that shouldn't be an excuse. We know how to beat them, we have the personnel, now the coaching staff better prove itself and have a real, solid gameplan.

It was a torn meniscus, right?

Anyway, everything I heard is this would be an issue maybe 5 years down the road, not in his first season.

Wagner was rated 86.1 I think against CLE.

Yes it wasn't threatening at all, what worried people was the time it took him to recover. He was supposed to be 100% come March and still wasn't during Draft Day...

Nope it is an issue even now.... And will likely limit his NFL career to 5 years if that is what you are saying. Still a huge concern in the now. Which is why smart teams didn't trust him in the draft.
