So sad - a good man taken far too young. It might sound trite but when someone has been around an organization that long, they become family. I'm sure there are a lot of heavy hearts in that locker room. But no hearts are heavier than that of his blood family.

Condolences to all and the memory of Clarence shall endure.

Rest in Peace Coach.  I hope your players will do you proud, as I'm sure they intend to.  You were a great influence on so many.

Oh no, I am so heart broken for his family, and his Raven's family. I have been wondering how he was doing....... He was a dedicated coach, and I am sure all players he coached are much better players, and men...... Prayers to all ??

R.I.P to a great coach but to even a better man. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family, friends, and all those who loved him. You'll be missed coach but never forgotten.

I hate this.

First Tray and now Coach Brooks. Will say a few prayers for his family tonight.

I thought for a while he was the next great Ravens defensive assistant to become a great coordinator, but this sickness took him too soon.

Had hoped he would be able to fight and beat this - but cancer has beat even the best of us.

A Raven since 2005... and will always be.

RIP Coach. You will be missed.

This feels like getting punched in the gut, I always felt he deserved a shot at being our DC, as so many players played so hard for him, and truly respected and loved this man.....This just really stinks, and my condolences to the Brooks family......

Steeler fan here...condolences to the the family, the entire Ravens organization, and the Flock on the passing of coach Brooks. By every standard he was a great coach and an even better person. RIP.
Some things are more important than footbal. Cancer is one of them.
