I agree...The Jags somehow make a good move for their future....

This seals Leonard Fournette as a Jag. Coughlin will take his lessons from the Giants when he had Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw.

I agree, and plus if you remember Doug Marrone had the Bills one game from the playoffs. Then they hired Rex and the Bills declined. Then you saw how different of a team the Jags were with him to end the season.

I know. Why do NFL teams like retreads so much? Not saying new coaches or new college coaches are the answer but the retreads needs to stop being a phase.

Sometimes retreads work well. Like Jack Del Rio in Oakland. But

I thought the Bills were more about the defense and that had more to do with Schwartz as DC honestly. Doesn't help that Marrone left the Bills which was curious to say the least. Still, he did do well the last couple games so we will see how he does

Rotoworld reports that Tom Coughlin will have final say in Jacksonville. That includes over GM Dave Caldwell. Going to be interesting to see how Coughlin feels about Blake Bortles.

Latest News:

- Redskins OC Sean McVay is getting a second interview with the LA Rams. It is also reported that if McVay gets the job, his top candidate for DC is former Broncos DC Wade Phillips.

- The Broncos and Dolphins DC Vance Joseph are closing in on a deal and expect a formal announcement soon of Vance Joseph being the Broncos new HC.

- The Bills are likely to hire Panthers DC Sean McDermott as their new HC, and he is likely to hire to former Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy as their new OC.

Interesting that Kyle Shanhan isn't going to end up in Denver like most expected. Nor will he end up in LA, wonder if the Falcons will escape the hiring cycle with Shanhan still their OC for 2017.

Maybe too early to speculate but there could be some truth in previous statements that Kyle Shanahan, although great offensive mind, doesn't have a greatest personality.

It's now official... Adam Schefter reports Vance Joseph cancelled his Chargers interview and is agreeing to a deal with the Broncos to become their next Head Coach.

‪White smoke now rising from Broncos training facility. Vance Joseph and Denver have reached agreement, source tells ESPN. Denver has its HC.‬

Vance Joseph moving quick... Mike McCoy returns to Denver as their new Offensive Coordinator.

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/353320/denver-gets-mike-mccoy-to-coordinate-offense?ls=roto:DEN:topheadlines

Gus Bradley interviewing for the Redskins Defensive Coordinator job.

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/353306/gus-bradley-interviewing-for-redskins-dc-gig?ls=roto:FA:topheadlines

Seems like these new teams are going to be making scheme changes defensively. The Redskins run a 3-4 but Bradley runs a 4-3, Wade Phillips runs a 3-4 and the Rams have always run a 4-3. It will be interesting to see Robert Quinn under Wade Phillips as it would be for Aaron Donald and how he fits into a 3-4 defense. Browns run a 3-4, yet they hired Gregg Williams who runs a 4-3.

Ugh, might have to bench Joe for a couple of games a season.

Something must be up. Rams are zeroing in on Redskins OC Sean McVay as their HC and turning away Shanahan. Even though Elway knows the Shanahan family as well as he does, to pass on Mike's son speaks volumes.

Sean McVay is officially the Rams new Head Coach. If reports are true, Wade Phillips will be the new Rams Defensive Coordinator.

So the Rams fire Jeff Fisher, they hire Sean McVay to be their new Head Coach. Yet they blunder everything by most likely retaining GM Les Snead instead of getting a new one.

Wade Phillips should be fun with that defense, they just really need some more talent on offense, especially the line

Offensive Line Coach Juan Castillo will be leaving Head Coach John Harbaugh’s staff to join the Buffalo Bills, The Baltimore Sun’s Jeff Zrebiec reported. Castillo will reportedly join Head Coach Sean McDermott's staff as the offensive line coach and run-game coordinator. The two previously worked together in Philadelphia.

So, next season we'll find out who was the culprit for the Ravens dismal rushing. Will keep an eye on Shady McCoy with interest.

Anthony Lynn went from the cold of Buffalo and being the front runner. To the bright lights and sunshine of Los Angeles.

Lynn and the Chargers agree to a deal that sees Lynn the new Chargers Head Coach.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/12/chargers-set-to-hire-anthony-lynn-as-head-coach/

Only the 49ers remain as they are still searching for a HC and GM. McDaniels or Shanahan to SF?

Especially if/when they draft Myles Garrett.

There's also the Pats' DC as a candidate for it.

Josh McDaniels is going to remain in New England as OC for 2017. McDaniels has withdrew his name for consideration for the 49ers job.

Leaving Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan the 49ers new target.

Chip Kelly likely to sign with Jacksonville as their new Offensive Coordinator under Doug Marrone.

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/353566/good-chance-chip-kelly-becomes-jags-oc?ls=roto:FA:topheadlines

I'm a bit surprised that Chip was willing to just be an OC instead of trying to be a HC again somewhere (NFL or college level). I'm not sure how well Bortles will fit Kelly's style, but this is a good move.
