I'd go with Pagano too. At this point Rex might have some bad blood with this team. Not a lot mind you, but his comments after he departed make me hesitate.

However, Rex Ryan might be less likely to get grabbed for another hc position after one good year.

Was reading that GM Trent Baalke is on the hot seat in San Fran. Wonder if they would do a house cleaning and fire Chip Kelly as well. Wonder who the next coach to get fired before seasons end. Def say Mike McCoy has to be top of the list if the Chargers keep finding ways to lose and wonder if a loss to the Broncos on Thursday would seal the deal. Curious if Hue Jackson would be one and done after a 0-16 season in Cleveland and if Adam Gase would be one and done in Miami. Or just maybe I'm hoping they get fired and we can hire Hue or Gase as our OC for next season lol.

I think more like senior team assistant coach; like stash for back up, just in case Marty isn't working out as OC....

Gase was my dream OC during the 2015 search

The fact the Jaguars didn't respond after a meeting with Shad Khan, and was blown out tells me this thread will be the talk of the town tomorrow. Don't see how Bradley survives after the disaster of tonight, garbage points aside this game wasn't even close.

Edit: Khan had this to say following the loss...

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran  2m2 minutes ago

Khan to Times-Union - "Actions speak louder than words. Very little for me to say."

Yeah this last quote just about sums up the situation. Won't be long

14-41 and people pitch a fit about the Ravens FO?

yeah, if Marvin Lewis is 0-7 in playoff and still hired, what makes us think Harb on the hot seat? lol

The difference is that the Jaguars were in a clear rebuilding mode when Bradley got hired.

And it's taken how long to reach this woeful point?  Seriously, every time I see someone post that the Ravens need to rebuild, I cringe.  Rebuilding is NOT a fast fix, but even then the Jags don't seem to be getting any better.

I don't suggest rebuilding, but I think wanting a new coach is valid if the Ravens have another losing season.

Greg Olson just fired by Jags.

Replaced with Nathaniel Hackett.

I can't say that Greg Roman was Rex's fall guy as the Bills have improved since firing him. Good to know Gus Bradley had a fall guy in Greg Olson. What does make it interesting is in the article is this quote....

Quote

The firing comes less than 24 hours after Bradley claimed there would be no changes to his coaching staff.

So this pretty much means Khan gave Gus 2 options..... Either Gus makes a change on the coaching staff or lose your job.

I agree and that's perspective of you.

There was a bad one right before the half where he threw a checkdown pass 4-5 feet above LeSean McCoys head on 3rd and 1. Everyone on the Bills either cringed or held their head in disbelief. If he would have completed it, they would have had 1-2 more shots at the endzone but they settled for a FG. That was the worst one I saw.

Tyrod is a good player but that was hard to watch.

No doubt my man Tyrod had a rough game B. :(

As much as I like Harbs as our coach, I agree with this.  Sometimes you just to need to change things up.  Thing that worries me is who replaces him.  I am sure they have people in mind already if that scenario arises.

Sidenote, I wouldn't be shocked if Josh McDaniels goes to Indy

Seems to me, this has been the year to fire Offensive Coordinators and not Head Coaches. Still can't believe Gus Bradley hasn't been fired yet, while there are reports that Mike McCarthy is on the hot seat in Green Bay.

The Falcons have extended GM Thomas Dimitroff with a 3 year contract.

LOL! Outside of Matt Ryan and Julio, who have they drafted that's a cornerstone for them?

As far as we all know nobody because Thomas traded every pick for Julio in 2011! Now what';s really bad about this extension is that the Falcons have missed the playoffs three straight years, last making the playoffs in 2012. Their record the past three years has been this.... 4-12(2013), 6-10(2014) with an 8-8 finish last season in Dan Quinn's first year as HC. Remember, Atlanta started out 5-0 then fell flat to finish the year 8-8. They started this year at 4-1, and currently sit 6-3 through 9 weeks.

Really questionable move if you ask me.

I forgot about him. But really who else?

Jake Matthews, Ryan Schraeder was picked up as an UDFA, Keanu Neal, Devonte Freeman, Dion Jones, Grady Jarrett, Vic Beasley, Robert Alford.

Those are just guys that are currently starting.

Among the rumors of Chip Kelly plotting to go back to college, it seems Jed York hasn't given Chip assurance of a job in 2017.

Quote

In light of his record, Kelly was asked Monday if he’d received any assurance from York that he would remain the head coach in 2017.
“No,” he said. “We haven’t had any conversations about that at all. About anybody’s job security.”

The Jags ... boy, they were the fashionable pick at the start of the season. So many picked them to take the South. My sentiment was, for a team that has never had a winning tradition, I take a "I'll believe it when I see it" approach.

I know there were some on these boards who were saying that we needed to take the Jags approach - really suck for a few years and get stud picks and then explode - just like the Jags were about to do. Gotta admit, while I still didn't think they'd be division winner, I didn't think they'd be this bad. They've got talent at some key positions, but they've failed to put it together ... and are failing miserably.

On the other hand, endless top 10 picks have finally seemed to have gotten the Raiders over the top ... although, one could argue it was being patient on the QB and getting Mack in the top 10 and their new franchise QB in the 2nd that really made the difference.

You gotta hit on your draft picks and you need to hit on a QB to make things turn around. A good QB on a rookie contract makes things a lot easier in terms of the cap. Many expected Bortles to take the next step in becoming a good QB and he has faltered this year and the team is built through it's passing game so that really kills them. They have also had a few other bad signings in free agency that has hurt as well
