Is it too late to predict that both Kyle Shanahan AND John Lynch will not last the length of their 6-year contracts?

I'd give it, at most, 3 years. Maybe 4 if Jeddy boy is hemorrhaging money on his bad front office contracts. Remember, 'You can't fire owners'.

Foundation crumbling, roaches run abound, short, arrogant ghost living in the attic but, hey, we put a new beige carpet in!

They're allegedly icing their draft guru Scott mccloughan for a reemergence of a drinking problem --> sign their head coach to a new deal in a bar in Indy

this is all while having their number 1 draft guy at home and not actually at the combine

Apparently the Redskins dsyfunction is about control, supporting Cousins long term and other stuff that destroys a team.

On this subject...

Kirk Cousins appealed personally to owner Dan Snyder for a trade but was basically told not to get his hopes up, per sources.

Living in the DC radio market, I'm loving the return of the self-loathing Redskins fans and media

Unbelievable.

This is on the Redskins front office... AKA Dan Snyder for allowing this to happen. McCloughan was in San Fran and help put together the team that Jim took to the SB against us. He had the Redskins on the right track, They were in the playoffs in 2015 and were close to making it this year. This has the signs of the team going on the downward and heading into the basement of the NFC East.

Oh this is gold

Scot McCloughan is an elite evaluator of talent. True football man. No surprise those traits might lead to his demise in Washington

So Dan Snyder doesn't understand the concept of football and if anyone who does comes into his organization is blacklisted? Gotcha. No wonder the Redskins have been so bad for so long. McCloughan is going to land on his feet somewhere and make a team better than Washington. Though... if he wants to just come up 95 we can make some room for him.

Unless if he can see the future, I don't know what kind of reasoning he can provide for all of this mess. Is Snyder really one of the worst owners in the league? They're a mess. It's like Stephen A. Smith was on the money when he said the Redskins are "allergic to prosperity."

Are you blaming Snyder for McCloughan falling off the wagon?  I guess I would, too, if I worked for that guy.

You know how jealousy works. Then one day they will find an excuse to bring you down. According to an interesting tweet from Mike Jones of the Washington Post this exactly what happened.

Quote

Was told late in the season of jealousy up top and how they'd one day use McCloughan drinking as an excuse to can him. Exactly what happened[\quote]

Also Senior Writer at ESPN, Seth Wickersham says his former colleagues in Seattle/SF are furious about this.

McCloughlan's ex-colleagues in SF/SEA are furious. He's that well-liked. He owns his past. The struggle is real. But that building ...[\quote]

The Redskins are intentionally spreading lies and trying to humiliate him, the same way they got Jim Zorn to resign instead of firing him - to save money on the remaining contract with him.

Now that they've fired their GM, either they did it 'with cause' for his supposed drinking or just want to make it seem like they had no other choice.

In reality, Dan Synder is the worst owner in sports and has a terrible Front Office - led by Bruce Allen - to do his bidding. And... maybe it means more Ravens converts! I think Dick Cass is laughing his butt off.

To hear Redskins fans tell it, yes. Although the Knicks have been an equally fun dumpster fire.

Statement from Mayock...

https://t.co/VQXRb3LEch

Would they be dumb enough to hire a media member? When things go south, the dirty laundry will get aired in no time. Mayock's got friends/contacts who sit in front of cameras all day.

Do it, Dan and Bruce!

He might once he sees the income bump from NFLN to NFL GM. But, still, going to the Redskins is a recipe for disaster unless you stay quiet and collect your check. Let Bruce Allen and Dan Synder walk over you like a doormat and then scapegoat you when things go bad.

Not a bad life if you are a spineless wuss.
