I think what these guys are doing is doing a better job of educating our kids, developing relationships and helping to create an environment in our inner cities that will lead to better interaction with those portions of society that are underserved than sitting or kneeling during the national anthem. Just my opinion. Would be nice if we could read an article where one of these guys who are "drawing attention" to a problem actually got off their asses and knees and did something productive that will help the community they are claiming to be protesting for. Anyone can protest, but very few can actually muster the intestinal fortitude to get up and do something about it when their bank accounts are so fat they don't feel they should have to do anything, other than draw attention to themselves. What a world it would be if the media actually focused on individuals like this instead of the others but I am sure the media doesn't think that doing good deeds is as big a money maker for them.

Spreading the seeds of literacy and knowledge for the future generations is a great idea. Good to see players sacrificing their day off and having a good time in the process.

The Ravens have had their share of criminal issues, and good publicity helps cover that up, but I really do think these kinds of things are more than the big PR machine making the team look good. The fans love the team here, and I believe the outreach is a big part of that. Even #27, before the big mistake, used to do things like go around filling backpacks for needy kids on the first day of school. Not because he had to.

#27 was spotless until the drank and gambling got the couple. RR is a good man. He lives his one mistake.

Literacy for kids, young kids especially, is SO important. Awesome these guys did this for Baltimore kids who no doubt admire these football players (and mascot), such role models indelibly influence kids' learning in positive lasting ways. So cool they take time to do this.
