My take-away from this article, Doom is going to play w/ some level of pain in his foot all season.  

Foot pain and discomfort is probably one of the worst possible injuries an edge rusher could have.

We don't play the Steelers on Christmas until Week 16. He definitely should be back by then. If that were the case, he would mostly miss the entire season.

This doesn't sound too good. Doom needs to get back on the field because he's basically playing for a contract. If he doesn't get double digit sacks then it'll be hard to justify keeping him after 2 sub 10 sack seasons. Letting go of him would free up 5.5 mil to spend on a replacement.

Perriman all over? Pretty sure this guy has been significantly healthy since we signed him and unlike Perriman he has produced highly in all of his seasons with us................Where are some of you guys coming up with this stuff. Some really bad posts, but some good ;)

I am pretty sure he just had it cleaned up a little bit, but he is probably having problems with swelling
